I still have two pairs of Adidas Adizero Adios 8 which are my happy shoes. I feel that will not be updating and I will be picking up Takumi Sen 10 when it's time for new runners. Thanks Mr. Midsole!
Very interesting, I tried on the Adizero SL and I am now an Adidas fan. I love how it always have massive discounts, the quality and duarability is great, and it delivers more than Nike. So can't believe I am saying this, but Adidas might be better than Nike!
I agree with you. The adidas lightstrike is really the best. New balance foam is too soft and drops out. I find this to be the case for a lot of running shoes. Cushioned shoes are on the way out.
@@EDDBUD Thanks keeping my eye on the Boston 12. Waiting for a sale. By the way the Y-3 Takumi Sen 10 are $350 in the states and the only Takumi Sen 10 available on their website/app.
Great video Edd, not sure the Sen 10 is a direct comparison tot he Vaporfly 3, would say that Adios Pro 3 is but that's just me. Those adidas uppers don't work for me unfortunately, they end up rubbing the toes on my right foot quite badly!
Having the sen 9 i cant see me wearing them out to need the sen 10. I use them on track only really although i may try them in a 5k soon. I think the pro 3 is superior in every way but the sen 9 do increase cadence a bit and are really light.
Interesting comparison between Takumi and Vaporfly. I got both in my possession and I'm racing a 5K tomorrow. I had made my mind about wearing Vaporfllies as I've raced HM and Marathon with them and I was absolutely satisfied. Though the forecast for tomorrow is rain! And here comes the grip factor. Plus takumi are supposed to be ideal for smaller distances like 5-10K, I only have wore them once in a track speed session of 800m. I loved them more than my previous pair of takumi 9s. Really fast soes! So the question is I run with T or V tomorrow??🤔😅
Thanks for your reply! I raced the 5K with takumis and luckily I won by a split of a sec lol. So I also used them yesterday in a 10K track race achieving my first sub37 PB. So back on your comparison I'd say love em both, prefer Takumi for 5-10K and Vaporfly for 21-42K! @@EDDBUD
