Just passed the AWS Cloud Practitioner exam on the first try. My steps: (1) Watched the whole 4 hour video in 4 different sittings @ ~1 hour each (2) Did a practice exam from SK|LLCERTPR0 ($20) (3) Skipped through this RUclips video again to basically read through concept/high-level definitions. (4) Took the Pearson VUE online test and passed in about 40 minutes. Scored 945/1000. I greatly appreciate this video. Thank you!
hey man congrats on passing the test, i have a question what kind of job can you get with this certification and what would be the entry level salary for someone with no experience?
This is probably one of the best RUclips lessons about AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner out there. Why? Because this video really connects the dots. There are the few examples of connecting the dots (for me anyway): ONE: Before watching this video, I thought there were only two options for Database Migration (On Prem - Cloud); AWS Snowball & Database Migration Services. This video explains that there are 4 options available out there for Database Migration; 1) Snowball 2) Database Migration Services 3) Server Migration Services 4) Application Discover Service TWO: Before watching this video, I always got confused between S3 Standard - IA vs. S3 One Zone - IA. I knew that both are good for long term data retention but has quick retrieval process unlike S3 Glacier Deep Archive. But. Really what’s the difference between S2 Standard IA vs. S2 One Zone IA? I didn’t know that until I watched this video, this video explains that S3 Standard - IA data are stored in 3 Availability Zones which makes it fault-tolerance (uninterrupted service) while S3 One Zone IA data is stored in a Single Availability Zone which makes it NON-fault-tolerance and it’s 20% cheaper than S3 Standard - IA. Hence, S3 One Zone IA is the Cheapest (lowest availability) S3 storage availably there! THREE - Initially, I got confused between RDS vs. AWS Aurora, this video explains it very well with RDS you can select your engine i.e., Aurora, Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, PostGreeSQL and MS SQL Server FOUR - Excellent explanation on Route 53!! However, the following topics could have been better presented i.e., SNS vs. SQS vs. SES (Did not touch SES at all) and also about the AWS Well Architected Framework (5 pillars); Operational Excellence, Performance Efficiency, Security, Reliability & Cost Optimization - could’ve been explained better with more examples on each pillar! Thanks!
Skimmed through the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner study guide, watched this video about 3 times, another one about 2 times, 3 weeks of light study and I passed the exam this morning. Thank you! Hardest part was satisfying the proctor who would did not like any of my home testing locations, luckily I was disconnected to this proctor and another one was much more lenient. Good Luck All!

At 3:30:40, instead of demoing the differences between SQS & SNS, we skipped out of order to Cloud Front. 1:13:00 So AWS wants the bucket naming to be "globally" unique per DNS restrictions. If i am not mistaken, the root user controls the rules and who is allowed to do what. Therefore the root user needs to give your IAM user the ability to access the dashboard.
I purchased 6 practise exams and i also found videos on the actual questions in the exams, which when answered gives the explanation of the answer wether you got right or wrong. Also AWS has a question pool so it isn't necessarily true all the questions which I got will be same for you (or even many questions might not be same)
I cleared the exam in August..I referred to multiple sources of information.. except the white papers but turns out the questions were mostly from the white papers and weren't as straightforward.. anyways .thanks for the response.. and congratulations :)
@@samreenfathima97 for me it was like some were straight forward and some were a bit twisted but it's fine and dandy as long as you cleared the exam
Just making sure , this works for the 2022/2023 exam correct? And do I need to also practice hands on or just watch the video ? i was charged unintentionally once already
Yes it does. Just understand the concepts and AWS services within the new UI. For hands on, continue watching and follow steps. Good luck 👍
Best
great course! thanks
You are welcome! Thank you for the feedback.🚀👍😀

@@claydesk thanks I will do, lastly when i did some research i was told that to become a cloud architect I need to have knowledge of :
● linux
●programming
●networking
●database
And ect.
Does your course even on your website cover all this if yeah I need one on one sessions
Do you do private on-line course?
I have no IT Background.. Can I do this Course a Complete Beginner...?
Yes it is for complete beginners . Also take our courses on fundamentals of cloud computing and up addressing and subnetting
This very well done and very helpful. Are there any exam prep texts that should be leveraged to prepare for the exam?
Great video! You mentioned about the white papers that needs to be read as well, may I know where can i read it? Do you have a PDF version of it? Thanks a lot for the answer.. 😀

Happy learning.
@@claydesk Where to click and download the White Papers? I cannot see any link on your blog. Thanks.
i am still confused between on-premise cloud and legacy on-premise. So if i understand correctly, on-premise (private) cloud is you lease the physical machine and put it at your facility. but what's the difference? you will still need IT people to manager it, right?
THanks
Hi Ben -> On Prem is at your location, whereas, cloud is where physical hardware is provided by the platform provider (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.). In both cases, you need IT professionals to do the work :)
I completed my CCP exam this morning and I just the grade PASS, after that nowhere it is saying I passed, also email notification will come after 5 business days. Is there any place that I can see the results again?
I.have zero knowledge on aws just happened to know what is cloud service in general not sure where to start will this tutorial be sufficient for me to get a knowledge and attempt the exam.
Absolutely. This is the perfect course! But brush up on cloud computing concepts too a bit. Thanks. Also take the networking essentials full course right here on our channel.

Yes sure. Noted. Thanks . Will upload soon.
Can someone confirm if the course is online with 2021 certification
it's not
Hi, is this course still good and up to date with the current 2022 AWS cloud practitioner exam?
Yes it is for sure. Let me know if you still have any questions along your learning journey. Good luck.👍
@@claydesk Thanks for the response. For someone with no cloud or it background. After going through this video, is it enough to pass the exam ? I plan on going through the video twice and going over the supporting materials you recommend. Or what do you recommend? I'll like to take the exam sometime towards the end of next month. I read in the comments, some of the commenters only watched your video and passed the exam. Is watching just the video enough to pass?

Thanks for this great content though this does not cover Billing. I believe we need that as you mentioned covers about 12% of exam questions. Am I right?
Sandy, thanks for bringing this up. We have covered enough so your get solid understanding without going in depth. For exam purposes, this will suffice. Thanks.
Hi am a mobile application developer. I am having 5+years of experience. Now want to take some AWS certification. So this video will be helpful for me? Or is there anything which i want to learn first? Please suggest me. I want to be aws practioner certified, aws architect certified and aws developer certified.

IT is much in demand - doing this course for my Cybersecurity job as an employee requirement. Anything you can do to improve your knowledge on computers through certifications is helpful. Hope this helps :).
Hey I would also look at LinkedIn courses because some employers will value your drive once they see the certifications on your profile. I understand it all so confusing I’m learning myself. Keep going!

I can't access the billing dashboard by my IAM user but can access the same if I login as root user. Why is it so?
aws.amazon.com/premiumsupport/knowledge-center/iam-billing-access/
aws.amazon.com/blogs/security/dont-forget-to-enable-access-to-the-billing-console/
If i am not mistaken, the root user controls the rules and who is allowed to do what. Therefore the root user needs to give your IAM user the ability to access the dashboard.
Is this course applicable for 2022 as well?
Yes it is . You also need to brush up on new services as AWS keeps adding them. Thanks .
I purchased 6 practise exams and i also found videos on the actual questions in the exams, which when answered gives the explanation of the answer wether you got right or wrong.
So if i watch this video everyday as well as the test videos, then do the practise exam... do you think i can pass the test within a week and a half?
wow
great course and presentation.... tnx alot.
Glad you liked it!
Thank you.
You're welcome! 👍👍👍

awesome
Just by learning from your's and other's resources, Can I clear certification exam? Plz reply
Thanks 🙏
You are welcome! Happy learning.
My AWS is not showing all of that...I wonder why. Can anyone help.?😓
AWS keeps om adding new services, so your management console may reflect new tools/services. So the interface may be a bit different, but you will find all the services covered for the exam preparation. Thanks.
If you have a specific question, feel free to ask :)

Good transition.
Is it mandatory to clear AWS cloud practitioner certification before attempting the AWS cloud Architect Associate certification?
No
how to get this course related jobs..please guide me
You can’t get a job managing a companies AWS cloud with only this Cert. I’m surprised anyone would think that.
You’re super cute 🥰
too many damn ads, jeez!
It’s free! How can you possibly complain about getting this content for free? Maybe you should go to Udemy and buy the same course for $100. Then you wouldn’t have to see these awful ads. Jeez!
Pay for RUclips Premium, then there's zero ads.
