    Good day Derek,
    Big thanks for this! It has been certainly a massive coverage of AWS!
    Just to clarify - and unless it has been a last-minute update or something? - : LightSail (1:19:47) looks like a VPS managed service, which besides VMs also covers DBs, Containers, Content Deliv. Network, etc..
    Again many thanks for your time and effort, cheers from Barcelona!👏👏👏

      @Learn2Cloud1017  7 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks for tuning in!
      Yes, it is ultimately a service to replicate a Virtual Private Server (that can be used for more than EC2 instances). But it's really just an underlying VM using software to replicate that actual server, so I put it in the compute section.
      Some of the overlap on the services can get confusing...

    Brilliant 🌟 I've just passed the exam! Guess what? I took a practice test yesterday and got 40% score, which means fail. But just two hours before the exam, I watched your video on 2x speed LOL, and it really helped me pass the exam without needing anything else. I wouldn't suggest this approach to others, but I wanted to say thanks for your helpful and short video.

    Not that anybody would notice or, in this group, cares, you are talking about AES256 encryption and in the next sentence refer to SHA256 encryption. SHA is a hash function and used for integrity checking and authentication, but SHA is NOT an encryption by any means. In your example the SHA256 hash of "hello" is indeed what you have. But SHA256 of a 10 petabyte's file would also be, as you might guess, 256 bytes long.

    1:55:00 just to clarify, hello only looks huge because encryption by design is built on blocks. The data doesn't get huge, the data get put into blocks of 128 bits so something small will always be at least 128 bits.

    Hi, just wanted to say I spent months watching the AWS training videos, nothing sank in, I was fed up with them and the selection of weirdo's they use to teach.
    I spent two days watching your video pretty much on repeat and passed first time today.
    For what its worth, I went through all the videos on youtube and hated them all, yours is great, but if I could ask anything as somebody using your material, it would be to not put music, repetitive royaltee free beats which are not even looped cleanly or intro's in, just keep to being you, talking, and teaching.
    I say this because I think this is your intention but for some reason the audio of the music didn't come through for the most part, that for me was perfect.

    • @Learn2Cloud1017
      @Learn2Cloud1017  Месяц назад

      Glad it helped! audio got weird because it had to be trimmed of original sound and replaced with what you hear now.
      Most people seem to use the video for review and skip over the breaks anyways so it balances out :)

    • @TheModernVictorian
      @TheModernVictorian 29 дней назад +1

      @@Learn2Cloud1017 Well I passed first time just as you suggested in the comment on this video, and I paid attention to your experience in behaviour and followed the breaks.
      And I shouldn't really criticise, the entire training portion was excellent, you are a very good trainer and the outcomes of me passing this first time were very significant, if I didn't pass first time, a lot of objectives for myself and my line manager wouldn't have been completed prior to bonus time. I wouldn't have been popular because I would have been the only one who didn't have the cert on the team and my manager wouldn't have been able to tick off all his objectives. So I sincerely appreciate you making this video.
      For what it's worth, it was a skim-by, 790 out of 1000 with the obvious 700 needed to pass, but like you say, a pass is a pass!
      Good work dude, thanks once again.
