This is everything I have been looking for in a multi purpose set up. My biggest limiting factor when making videos is honestly the set up and packing down, a minor barrier, but a barrier all the same. Thanks for this man!
Couldn't agree with you more! I was in the same boat. I'm hoping this new setup will help me just film more videos without the barrier of having to setup
Your videos have a really cool feel to them. You feel authentic, so it kinda feels like I'm hanging out with you when watching your videos. I appreciate your content.
Travis, that means a lot man! I think every creator hopes that they come off authentic so I appreciate you taking the time to give me feedback and encouragement

This is a clean set up. I really love it. I have all sorts of cable under my desk. I used to have the lights up all the time and I used to trip and fall (every day). Now I set up and put everything down after recording. (this is a lot of work). Thank you for sharing!
Yeah I used to just keep the lights up too with floor stands but it kept getting in the way. Hopefully you didnt get hurt on any of those falls haha. Thanks for watching!
This is the video I have been searching for for weeks! The overhead equipment info is golden. Thanks so much for the time you took to put all these details out here for us...and by the way, you have gained a new subscriber!
My brother, if you are having trouble seeing yourself in the small built-in camera screen, you'll have more trouble reading notes from that far from your phone. i suggest, get another screen(like the one you got for your camera) and wire it using an hdmi to lightning cable, you can just tuck everything below too and make it easy on your eyes. That way, when you look at your notes, you also see what your camera is seeing.
That's an awesome video man. I repect all the time and efoort RUclipsrs like youself put into your videos and it really shows. Maybe I'll start making my own one day, and your tips have definietly helped me out. Great product recommendations too! 👍

This is awesome! This gives me some ideas how I can improve my filming setup a bit better. I actually scoured the internet last month for the perfect stand for my setup. I think I found one but surprisingly there's only 1-2 videos on it on RUclips.
I love how the average person might look at our setups and think were crazy for constantly trying to change it LOL. But excited to see which stand you end up with! I could barely find any videos on this Proaim stand but I love it
Enjoying your content, very clean visuals and setup! I did notice in your audio there was a low-pitch hum that was distracting, you might run all your sound through Adobe Audition in post and run a noise gate or EQ to isolate the frequency to take your sound to the next level to match your videos, keep it up!
That moment when you get super excited about the overhead light stand and think that it's the solution... then click the link and see that it's around $700 🥲 lmao great video either way!
Awesome video, as always! This is such a well thought out setup for filming / RUclips / content creation! It'll be super helpful to a lot of people for sure 😄

How big is your desk top and how do you position the camera to get the very same effect? This is with a wide angle lens, 11mm? Thank you

Hey thanks for this…I’m in the middle of my own office setup as well and I definite need lights. Will certainly want to move up to this kind of set up! Very clean and looks great! I’m looking into acoustical treatments to help deaden the sound. Just a thought! Thanks for the inspiration…Nice Job!
Thanks for the tips John! Yeah with this new setup, I got rid of a few things in the office and it's causing a lot more room noise and reverb. Need to do some sound treatment in the space to help with audio but haven't gotten to it yet. Definitely going to try and improve it though!
