I just love everything about this video! Especially the "minimalist" design. Quick question Edward: What Key light do you recommend for a beginner (head talk videos)? Appreciate you.
Great intro and video. Love the RUclips setup, especially the beefy over-head stand. Great advice for contrast on the desk mats too. Only question is do you use Cannon for both A and B roll and are you sticking with Canon due to your lenses or other reasons. I see so many use the Sony Alpha 1 or R7 MV for its 60+MP. Keep them coming. I'm now a fan and subscriber to your channel.
This is a clean set up. I really love it. I have all sorts of cable under my desk. I used to have the lights up all the time and I used to trip and fall (every day). Now I set up and put everything down after recording. (this is a lot of work). Thank you for sharing!
Yeah I used to just keep the lights up too with floor stands but it kept getting in the way. Hopefully you didnt get hurt on any of those falls haha. Thanks for watching!

Great video and setup. What connection do you recommend from the overhead stand to the camera itself? I'm after something that is sturdy given my camera is overhead but flexible enough to swivel to obtain the right angle. Do you have a suggestion or link you can share? Thank you
Hmm, no specific link for that but I know for a fact you can get a "baby pin to 1/4 mount" adapter and then use a ball head or any standard camera mounting plate to achieve the look you're after
I wish someone could just come by my apartment and find me a solution for how to put lights in the small bedroom that i use to record videos. I don't have a lot of space AND i have to use it as a bedroom as well, so i'm kinda going crazy over how to "fix" it so i have better lighting for my videos.
