New Super Mario Bros. Wii[a] is a 2D side-scrolling platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii. It is a sequel to New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS and a part of the New Super Mario Bros. series. It was released in 2009. A high-definition remastered port for the Nvidia Shield TV was released in China in December 2017.[6]
When Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad, and Yellow Toad are celebrating Princess Peach's birthday in her castle, a large cake appears. Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings emerge from the cake and trap Peach inside. The cake is loaded onto Bowser's airship and it takes off, with Mario, Luigi, and the two Toads giving chase. The Toads in the castle grant them access to the new items, the Propeller Mushrooms and Penguin Suits.[42]
After traveling through several worlds fighting the Koopalings, Bowser Jr., and Kamek the Magikoopa, the Mario Bros. and the Toads arrive at Bowser's castle. Bowser is defeated but is revived by Kamek, who casts a magical spell that transforms him into a giant. Bowser chases after Mario and the others, destroying everything in his path, until Mario finds a large switch and triggers it, causing Bowser to fall through the ground and releasing Peach from her cage. Peach and Mario depart from the castle in a hot-air balloon, with Luigi and the Toads following behind.
The credits are shown as a minigame where the letters in the credits are written on blocks, which can be broken by the playable characters to get coins (all four characters appear, but only the ones controlled by players can get coins). After the credits, Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings help Bowser out of his unstable castle, which falls over and traps them.

I always liked the idea of a Super Mario Land game that takes place in Sarasaland with Daisy and Tatanga, but 3D with a hub world and a similar moveset and sandbox elements to Super Mario 64.
and with better shooting sequences... we don't need bullet hell but even as a kid i was disappointed with the limited shooting levels.

I loved Super Mario Land and the original Super Mario 2 because it gave us new enemies and different bosses instead of dropping Bowser in a pit for the 80th time. Also the Black shell exploding Koopas need to make a comeback in the main games.

This is a mod, and you can change the music. Instead of being lazy the Brazilian team should change it for Land.

They did change the music. They just used the same soundfont to make it sound like its from NSMB.

World 2-3 sounds exactly like the main mario theme. So cool. I can think of the sound in the Mario tennis n64 where the court is Mario and Luigi themee.

I came up with an ultimate original idea for Super Mario Land being featured in a new light. I've seen people remake Super Mario Land in a Super Mario Bros 3 style, and I've also seen people remake it in a New Super Mario Bros style. Here's my idea, what if Nintendo came out with a Super Mario Land game with full 3D analogue control and contain a hub world and collect shiny things to end missions kinda like a Super Mario 64 style of gameplay, but it'd have HD graphics obviously because those are the times we are living in today. So yeah it would be Power Hearts to give the game something to distinguish itself from the other games with Power Stars, Shine Sprites, and Power Moons. It'd be a 3D sandbox so Mario would be able to do a great degree of exploration of the kingdoms of Sarasaland. Maybe a hub world idea for the game would be a museum of archaeological artifacts with something in them for Mario to jump to so he can get to the levels. The game would be called Super Mario Land 360 because of 360 degree analogue. I'd call it Super Mario Land 3D but the only problem is that it looks too much like Super Mario 3D Land.

I actually like this remake! Unlike the Mario 2 HD remake, this one is actually pretty good! I love the remix of the music too! (Plus tbh I like hearing the normal star music instead of the random can can version. XD) plus, there’s an actual FLAGPOLE in this one instead of a door.

No. This whole thing was lazily done. Just rewatch the video. All of the textures look like they were poorly photoshopped into the game. THE COINS DON'T EVEN SPIN! On top of that, some of the textures are literally from Google Images. Therefore, I can prove that this whole thing is VERY lazy and the only good thing about the entire remake is the music.
Coins are due to emulator. Coins and question blocks play their animations fine if you have a good enough computer. Also stop being a hater
