▬Description▬
New Super Mario Bros. Wii[a] is a 2D side-scrolling platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii. It is a sequel to New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS and a part of the New Super Mario Bros. series. It was released in 2009. A high-definition remastered port for the Nvidia Shield TV was released in China in December 2017.[6]
When Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad, and Yellow Toad are celebrating Princess Peach's birthday in her castle, a large cake appears. Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings emerge from the cake and trap Peach inside. The cake is loaded onto Bowser's airship and it takes off, with Mario, Luigi, and the two Toads giving chase. The Toads in the castle grant them access to the new items, the Propeller Mushrooms and Penguin Suits.[42]
After traveling through several worlds fighting the Koopalings, Bowser Jr., and Kamek the Magikoopa, the Mario Bros. and the Toads arrive at Bowser's castle. Bowser is defeated but is revived by Kamek, who casts a magical spell that transforms him into a giant. Bowser chases after Mario and the others, destroying everything in his path, until Mario finds a large switch and triggers it, causing Bowser to fall through the ground and releasing Peach from her cage. Peach and Mario depart from the castle in a hot-air balloon, with Luigi and the Toads following behind.
The credits are shown as a minigame where the letters in the credits are written on blocks, which can be broken by the playable characters to get coins (all four characters appear, but only the ones controlled by players can get coins). After the credits, Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings help Bowser out of his unstable castle, which falls over and traps them.

Literally the only good thing about this hack are the music remixes, everything else feels like it was slapped together at the last minute using glue and tape

Super Mario Land 2 is the best on Game Boy. The game is unique and it's the reason why it brings so much fun. All these remakes are too similar. Nothing new, nothing unusual, just freakin New Super Mario Bros everywhere
This includes other games, like Super Mario Bros. 2, it has all the resources it needs to run, while New Super Mario Bros. Wii doesn't have any to run SMB2 due to being completely different

I downloaded the game in my 3DS some days ago and I completed it in just a few hours 😂 video games have changed so much since it came out...
Its probably because it was on the original gameboy. If it was on better hardware, they could have easily made the game larger.
