Well. The original Super Mario doesn't have any unique mechanic not present in the NSMBW engine (2 has the throwing, 3 has flying with the leaf, World has permanent Yoshi)
also hotel mario doors could get open again, mario is missing castle always lead to a city not another floor plus did not have levels, and mario land sphinw is basicly bowser, so he could have worked in the pyramid

To my knowledge, someone correct me if I'm wrong, this mod was originally made by a team of people who obviously started with the earlier Mario games. But, then it was taken over by the person who released it, Cad111, who, to put it in the nicest way possible, fucked it all up, likely responsible for the Mario is Missing games etc. seen of Vinesauce Joel's stream. If anyone has any more information on the development of this mod please let me know, it's fascinating to me.

dato curioso del hack primero tienes que jugar el super mario world hasta el mundo 7 luego juega el super mario bros 3 juega hasta el mundo 6 o hasta el 7 minimo y luego completa el super mario world para no tener tantos problemas porque si completas el super mario world completo y luego vas donde el jefe y lo terminas en ves de salir los creditos(pocas veces aparecen los creditos) el juego te pondra en el mundo 6 del super mario bros 3 y no podras jugar en resto del juego

I think for Mario 1 a short cut scene of traversal between level types would be better than a world map. Although a level select should be available.An engine that more closely mimics the original physics would be better too. Maybe a goomba that takes two stomps to kill or a turtle koopa troops that quickly retrieves it's shell similar to SMW but a bit faster. Goombas into para goombas and koopas into parakoopas. Hammer bros that take 2 or 3 hits to die with better A.I. and/or refined movement. Randomized jump height. Long jumps, back flips, misty's. A more random hammer throwing mechanic with more variation on distance thrown. Fire brothers with heat guided fireballs. Para-versions of both. Bowser's clones should become distinct versions of these para-hammer/fire bro hybrids. Replete with denotions of military rank within the koopa troops. Officers, Commanders, Lt.'s, Generals, etc.

They have changed the suit of Mario Feather / cape and Mario Leaf / Apache for a helicopter hat, we were already used to the old power-ups.
They have added "stomp" and that detracts from Mario's original essence of hitting cubes with his head. If they wanted to add a "stomp" they would have kept the Mario "spinning on his own" from Super Mario World.
In Super Mario 3 it no longer represents a play, and it is no longer possible to play roulette to catch a mushroom (2 lives), flower (3 lives) or star (5 lives). And they have changed it for a Mario dialogue that says "Mario .. and something" at the end of each level.
In Super Mario World there is no longer to save an item in a blue box at the top of the screen and change it and be able to have the Flower and Feather duo. They have also removed the final goal with a bar moving from top to bottom.
And about Super Mario Oddysey, it was more beautiful sentences for decades that the Mario brothers were sent to the real world (ours) to "protect them from something very ugly seen in Yoshi Island and Super Mario RPG" in Italy and are immigrants in New York and They end up working as plumbers and from the Mushroom Kingdom they decide to bring the Mario brothers back to that world because they need them by opening a portal in the New York drain while the two of them worked, entering the Mario brothers there and returning to their home world.
