I made this with denim and a coordinating fabric to hold snacks in a Christmas gift package for seniors in nursing homes. Thank you for a good tutorial.
I had no idea you could do this with Drawstring... I keep seeing them with zippers. but i got it in my head to make one side vinyl and one side fabric. i'm sure that is totally doable.... can't wait.... they will be project bag gifts for my "Crochet Friends"
Hi Nicole. First of all I love your tutorials and it’s great to have a good sewing Aussie show Have you done a bag other than drawstring but with a zipper 💕💕🇦🇺🇦🇺
Hi Jenny, I have done drawstring bags, but none with a zipper, I will had that to the list, Keep an eye out in the near future :) are you looking for it for a specific requirement? Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment your time is appreciated and I look forward to seeing your name pop up again in the near future
This tutorial comes just in time for me. I really need to make a couple of these bags to hold some toys for my Grandson. Thank you. Great tutorial. Nice to listen to a fellow Aussie :)
Thank you...glad you liked it and thanks so much for taking the time to watch and comment hun l appreciate you being here with us and joining in the fun 😊❤
I love the way you show how to work with the vinyl, esp. when I don't have a Teflon foot for sewing it any other way. BTW, I love your little "box" for your wonder clips! Any future video showing how you built it?
Have a tip for you on the cordage. To keep it from fraying when running it through the casing, tape the ends with either masking tape or painter's tape (usually it's blue). Learned this working with fabric at a previous job. We would measure then tape and cut the tape in half. It kept it from unraveling on the bolts! Looking forward to the live stream on the 14th!
all good hun :) thanks for watching the replay :) we will see you next week for our live tutorial :) we will have another Premiere in 2 weeks :) and every 2 weeks thereafter :) See you Friday for our Finish it Friday :) Oh and we have our Friday nite live this week again as we had a scheduling issue :)
