Thank you so much for this very clear tutorial! I just finished making one and I love it! I did a couple of small things differently. I serged the seams instead of zigzagging them, and I put interfacing in the two bottom pieces. I also quilted these pieces. Thank you again! I will be making more of these!
I like this bag very much! That was a great tip about pushing the first rope to the top before threading the second one. Your tutorials are interesting and very helpful! Thanks a lot!
Thank you so much I made today ater watching the video. It too me way longer to make than your video. LOL I used washable school glue to hold the fabricf and vinyl together and it worked great. Thanks again for the wonderful tutorial.
This is such a great bag and your instructions are super clear making it look easy to do! Depending on the fabric, could be used in such a variety of ways. Can't wait to try it! #Cricutlove
Lorrie- this is another great project you made & shared with us. Thank you so much for all your creativity & sharing with us! You do a wonderful job on all your projects & we appreciate all your time & work. 🤗
I attended a concert with my daughter in Austin, TX and we were required to have see-through bags IF you wanted to bring one into the venue. This would be great, maybe as a backpack. Thank you for your detailed instructions 💗
Always learn something new when watching your videos! Who knew you could 'iron' plastic, lol! Thanks for the tutorial, pattern, and the wonderful tips too!
I made a bag similar to this thou yours with the folds at the top of fabric before the cord channel is attached is a great trip. But instead of PVC I used up some mesh I had leftover from replacing patio door screen. The mesh is made out of some sort of plastic. I live this stuff so much I went and bought a whole roll off replacement screening from the hardware store. I've used it on countless projects.
OMG i am in love with this one. I just ordered some glitter vinyl and i think i am going to use that for this project. Thanks again for a great tutorial
Lucy if you don’t have a lot of space look into a baby singer on eBay they are small yet sturdy and durable also jo Ann’s has small craft sewing machines not those awful handheld contraptions lol
Hi Lorrie, I have papercrafting double sided tape that looks similar.. do you think it would work? Doesn't any tape gunk up the sewing needle? I'm going to make a few of these... First one for real estate items to leave in my vehicle (tape measure, etc.). Thanks!!!
Hi Laurie. Me again. I have 2 more questions for you. What size of cord did you use? I followed the link but many sizes. 2. Did you interface all pieces of fabric? I find it hard to see on the video and I don’t hear you mentioning this. Thank you.
Lorrie Nunemaker ah ok thank you. I never got a machine so I have no idea what they’re all about. Thank you so much. I’ll write out what you’re saying. I just need it in writing lol. Thank you. Love your works.

I just made one. It turned out well. Great tutorial ! If I make another one I am going to interface the lower portion or try a heavier fabric.
Thanks for this tip! I'm currently making this bag and was really considering using interfacing.
You can also use a glue stick instead of the tape. Great video!
So well explained and so clear to see. Thank you so much for the video. I can’t wait to try

Where can I purchase thee iron?
Hi Lorrie, Thank you! Can't wait to try this. Just wanted to confirm - the size cording you used was 3/16"?
I love this bag! It’s perfect for all my fabric scraps #Cricutmade
Looks like you can make them any size
Beautiful I wish I had a sewing machine I don't have the room. Hopefully your able to figure a way to make one with no sew
Lucy if you don’t have a lot of space look into a baby singer on eBay they are small yet sturdy and durable also jo Ann’s has small craft sewing machines not those awful handheld contraptions lol
Nice and simple I will be recreating
My jaw literally dropped when you showed how to “iron” the vinyl. Thanks for sharing.
Omg! Totally love!
Did you make your ironing surface? If so what did you make it with? New subbie
What grade plastic do you use for your bags?
What is the size of the finished project?
What gage is the plastic?
This is cute! Is it possible without sewing?
*sewing*
Hi Lorrie,
I have papercrafting double sided tape that looks similar.. do you think it would work? Doesn't any tape gunk up the sewing needle? I'm going to make a few of these... First one for real estate items to leave in my vehicle (tape measure, etc.). Thanks!!!
mojo2613 this is tape that is meant for sewing. Paper crafting tape is not the same
@@LorrieNunemaker ok, thanks for replying. ☺️
another great idea!! Do you know what thickness Gauge the Vinyl is??
Debbie Ayres In the link for vinyl purchase it is 10 gage
have you ever linked where you get your labels made? I am looking for some to sew on projects. thank you
kristielambeth I have several different labels. Some Were gifted and some I made others I’ve ordered from various Etsy shops
Hi Laurie. Me again. I have 2 more questions for you. What size of cord did you use? I followed the link but many sizes. 2. Did you interface all pieces of fabric? I find it hard to see on the video and I don’t hear you mentioning this. Thank you.
Francine st-denis the link opens to the size I used. You can really use any size you want. The fabric is not interfaced.
Lorrie Nunemaker thank you. I’ll recheck the link.
Francine st-denis link doesn’t open to the size she used
Does that work with vinyl or contact paper that comes off the roll
Jessica Cockerell I used the products linked in the video (I didn’t try other products) but you wouldn’t want to use anything with an adhesive back
Does anyone know what stitch length she used?

What size needle did you use?
Mary Locke 80/12
Thank you. I will be making some of these bags.
Where is the free pattern? I don't have a Circuit but would like to make this bag.
IMNRN97 did you watch the video ? I tell you exactly what you need to make it without a cricut
@@LorrieNunemaker Yes I watched it. Oops, I thought you had a written pattern. I will watch it again. Thanks for replying.
I bought too thin of vinyl it ripped easily.
Theresa Berg I prefer to use 8 or 10 gauge
