Thank you for the information, but I have a question. What if you have a lot of fabric like 57" by 42" how wide would you make the strip

I have done a Grime Guard for my Hoop. But when I put in on, I don't see a lot my work because Grime Guard take a lot of place in aere. If I make it less large it doesn't take all my fabric. Is it normal ?

I have a question on your formula for a hoop, you said to follow the above formula after you subtract the 2". The above formula says to multiply by 2 but you multiply by 4, which is correct? Thank you love your video

Formula doesn’t actually work properly without fudging. For an 8 inch hoop the formula should be 8” x pi (π) = X then X + 2
8” x 3.14 = 25” + 2 “ = 27”. Also using 6.5” for the width is not “always”. Hoops are not as bulky and wide as QSnaps so reducing the width makes it more logical even if you have lots of fabric to tuck in. Ps, to make it more professional and neater looking use a width of 1.5” for joining seam then use zig zag for each end as this will be visible upon finish. Roll and press approx 1/8 inch then fold slightly larger than elastic. Reduces how bulky the seams become.
