@@LuckyGin There you go. I've put in hundreds of hours night hunting over here. Hey Lucky Gin I certainly enjoyed watching a couple of your videos today. I agree with you that hunting in rough surf can be hard and exhausting. Moreover the pinpointer on the beach is an excellent technique. I get called out all the time by friends but it saves time. Saved time = more hunted targets. Much respect for hunting all day in the heat. Anyway enjoy your evening and keep those videos coming.

Gin- A few years ago, I was metal detecting on a remote beach in Nambia Africa. There had been many ship wrecks in the area and I wanted to see what might have come ashore. Waves were very small (less than a foot). I was in knee deep water, not watching the ocean. Suddenly a HUGE rogue wave about five feet high hit me. I found out later it was from an undersea earthquake. The wave knocked me down, and I lost my detector, earphones, sunglasses and scoop. I grabbed the detector , but everything else went out to sea. Just be careful around the ocean!
Hit that cycle 3 times. WTG! Gold will be yours one day! Looked a little rough to be out that far. Thanks for the pretty views . And the beach wasn’t bad either.

Sure enough, the watch does work. I’m amazed by Apple, truly. Brought it home and put it on the charger and it fired right up. I’m going to try to return it to the owner; it’s a gal from Brazil.🙂🍀
I stick to public beaches because you don’t need permits for them.. You just have to be careful and not cross the invisible boundaries into parks/preserves that often adjoin the beaches.🍀
Hey my friend. If you shake your basket. You can save some search time and not have to pin point quite as much. And also shake it over your dug hole. Just food for thought.
@@LuckyGin I think you do a fantastic job… but of course you have a luxury of someone else doing the camera work for you !! Lol… I dug a 4 foot long.. almost 16 inches deep hole to get this silver out yesterday.. and the day before I hit a great site. A vintage silver foreign spoon.. a monogrammed Tiffany and co heart pendant (silver) one old pocket watch.. one old ladies pendant watch.. numerous pandora beads .. some military pendants… I’ve cleaned it all up.. and been playing with it since. Hi Gin! After that older gentleman asked you what you found, I thought, do you get many kids asking what you’re doing? By the way, love your “beach boots”! Do you keep an eye on the tide times so you can detect further out without getting beat up by the surf?
Oh yes, definitely. Kids are naturally curious and come up to me all the time. I love the look on their faces when I tell them I’m hunting for treasure.🙃💖. I try to make sure I’m at the beach for low tide, and just hunt the dry when it’s high tide. The day after I filmed this, I ended up hunting until 2am because low tide was around midnight.

@@LuckyGin oh and thanks for sharing
Hi Gin , Does the Apple Watch work ? You did a LOT of digging in 93 degree weather in the sun ! That gold ring is out there and you WILL find it . Enjoyed another fun video....
Sure enough, the watch does work. I’m amazed by Apple, truly. Brought it home and put it on the charger and it fired right up. I’m going to try to return it to the owner; it’s a gal from Brazil.🙂🍀
I just never knew that's that Beach could look that pretty
PS… put that pretty hair in a pony tail or wear a visor.. lol.. I do like the wind blown look! Hahaha
wow nice find
Thanks Steve! I appreciate you stopping by.🙂🍀
Jen I have a question for you how can a person concentrate on the metal detecting whenever the most precious find is those beautiful eyes
ugh it's hot thanks to the humidity in Murfreesboro today too.
Do you know if you have to have a permit to search the coast in AL?
I stick to public beaches because you don’t need permits for them.. You just have to be careful and not cross the invisible boundaries into parks/preserves that often adjoin the beaches.🍀
@@LuckyGin good to know I got a detector last summer and haven't had a chance to get out with my job but hoping to do so soon. Thanks
No permit needed for Alabama beaches.
Yeah finding a place to park near the beach is a hassle. Good video - keep going you'll find that $ 5000.00 diamond ring one day.
What is your favorite metal detector for saltwater and the beach?
Hey my friend. If you shake your basket. You can save some search time and not have to pin point quite as much. And also shake it over your dug hole. Just food for thought.
I’ve tried both methods many times, and shaking isn’t nearly as fast for me. You fellas have much more upper body strength for that.🙂
@@LuckyGin I think you do a fantastic job… but of course you have a luxury of someone else doing the camera work for you !! Hahaha
So beautiful.... I mean the beach! Yea... that's what I meant
🤣😂🤣🙃😉🍀
Dear Lucky; Good luck to you :)
Thanks ever so much!🙌🙂🍀
Talk about beautiful I've never seen a beach look that pretty absolutely gorgeous
Small woman small coil HUGE beach. Go find the good things, lady. Good luck.
Hi Gin, I was wondering what water shoes are you wearing?
Hi there, they are dive boots. I have a link for them and all my other equipment in the description.🙂🍀
@@LuckyGin thanks for the detailed reply!
Nice video, you might be able to revive that Apple Watch. Get it on a charger. You should be able to check email, texts to help identify the person. You may even be able to call Apple and they may be able to trace an ID number to an owner. Always fun to make someone’s day 👍👍👍
Yes, it still works. Once I charged it, I was able to find the info for the owner and I’m in the process of trying to return it to her. She was visiting all the way from Brazil!
@@LuckyGin Wooow, well she can pay for shipping to Brazil 🇧🇷 I guess 🤣 hopefully she is still in the States? How long ago did she say she lost it?
Nice hunt gin
Gin
