Yup, the song went platinum like a month after it came out too. It released July 9th, 2021 and went Platinum August 17th, 2021. So that was VERY quick.
It started taking off like crazy after that and then went Diamond last summer on June 23, 2023.

I didn't know who Drake was until lockdown in 2020. I came across his album Scorpion and I was so impressed. It wasn't until a couple months later, I discovered he was the biggest artist in the world. Its crazy when I look back at it now.

-“Yeah3X” was pushed in Europe/Asia, I heard it everywhere living in London and Hong Kong. “Look at me now” was the single for the American market. That release strategy worked well for Chris that album cycle.
