I literally just went on a random rick Ross tangent and listened to all his albums in a week, Mastermind threw me off cuz I was used to bumping Port Of Miami, Trilla, Teflon Don and a few other Ross albums..but that Mastermind album slipped threw the cracks for me and I listened to that while album when I cut grass the other day and I was like damn! Mafia Music 3, Thug Cry with Ross and Weezy, Supreme produced by Scott storch..so many dope songs on that one, and I slept on that shit for years

I listened to the Like…? EP a while ago and that project is the perfect example of fast food short songs created for TikTok and high streaming numbers. Every song is under 3 mins long, including one with a feature, some are even under 2 mins, and half the songs sound the same. Party drill song, slow sample drill song, and hard beat drill song all with monotone rapping. Anyway, I don’t think it’s better than Stankonia 💀

They're best two albums are Southernplayalistic and Aquemini and I would give those a B - and a B + respectively.

HUGE Gates fan, and yes I remember all the singles. The only single I liked from this mixtape is great man. Tbh, I’m not the biggest fan of Luca Brasi 3 though, as it’s the weakest one in the series. But in god I trust was crazy, I had that on repeat my senior year in high school🔥🔥🔥🔥. But all Gates fans remember this because it’s his first LP since being in prison.

Ngl; I'm a huge Kevin Gates fan & I knew every song you named. LB3 is arguably one of his best projects & still get played to this day. Gates music doesn't sound like anyone else & a lot of his songs be catchy asf. He's a got a strong solid fan base & that's an understatement
We can all agree Billboard is a pretty obsolete way to find out whether a song is popping or not especially with the other side of the coin for hit songs that barely stayed in the charts
Also Chastised was a miss on Street Gossip, really overrated, but hey you should probably check out My Turn one day as its easily his best album (and if you don't like Lil Baby then the album should be good to know if you like him or not

Not sure where you grew up and I’m not even being slick but “Like Father Like Son” is a certified HOOD classic. I know in the south and the Midwest up to St. Louis at least that album got heavy play. 😂😂😂 but agree 100% Hustler Muscik is definitely a top 3 Wayne song.
I've just never cared to listen to that album lol. I've heard all of Wayne's albums that are his own studio projects. But I always avoid Like Father, Like Son. Birdman is not a draw to me.
