kleavor is also found in the terrarium in the canyon biome, so it's likely that it only went extinct in sinnoh but could have existed in kalos at the same time
Also its not like the pokemon it self died out its most likely the black augurite that became extremely rare which we see alot of it around the kleavor in the terrarium

Black augurite became extremely rare in sinnoh thanks to oreburgh,with oreburgh túnel being basically the only place where It still exists and never that a wild scyther Will want to Go to a civilized town Full of rock types
I feel like if Ttar’s theory were right it could p easily be handwaved as an immigration thing. IRL Japan had just opened one (1) port to international trade and had a massive influx of American, British, Danish, Portuguese and French culture, tech and other imported goods, which would include livestock. If Hisui had Galarian visitors tagging along with the Kantoian colonisers it’s not weird to think it could have Kalosians travel there too

I never realized it until you put them side by side, but the black 'armor' that mega Scizor gets is very similar to the black 'armor' that kleavor has on his shoulders and head. I wonder if that was done on purpose when GameFreak designed Kleavor.

In terms of esthetics, imagine: The axes become double- headed, spikes protrude from its shoulders, its toe claws enlarge. It then jumps forward as it gains momentum to turn itself into a Beyblade of death. Possible new ability: %chance to force switch an opponent it makes contact with.
What about Galarian Slowbro? Technically it should mega-evolve too..

I want mega kleavor to have an ability like galvanize, where normal type moves become rock type moves and get boosted, which will give him the scariest quick attack in the game
YES! We have Normalize, Aerilate, Pixelate, Refrigerate, and Galvanize, so going off the naming scheme, it could be named something like Fossilize? Or Crystalize? Or Lithificate, deriving from lithification, the process of sentiment becoming rock.

If Kleavor Mega Evolves, I'd go with the Sharpness ability.
As cool as it would be to see Kleavor Mega Evolve, I won't be surprised if it doesn't happen. There are two Pokémon lines that make me think this way: the Snorunt and Kantonian Slowpoke lines. Glalie can Mega Evolve, but not Froslass. Kantonian Slowbro can Mega Evolve, but not Johtonian Slowking. The Ralts line is the only evolution line where both branched evolutions are able to Mega Evolve. Unless we learn in a reveal trailer that Legends Z-A will give a Mega to Froslass and Johtonian Slowking, I'm not inclined to think that Kleavor will Mega Evolve.
I mean I'm pretty sure regular Kleavor already has Sharpness so I definitely do think it should get carried over to its mega just like how Technician got carried over from scizor to its mega. 😅

Oh yes, I never thought of that. Kleavor will be first in line for a mega evolution. Not only did Scizor get one, but so did Pinsir and Heracross.

Mega Kleavor could also become the opposite and become a fast rock type like lycanrock. Instead of axes, he could have lightweight sharp daggers or something

Yo i just got a crazy idea. Imagine in gen 10 we get an R-fake of Eevee, which instead of its evolutions being the “special types” it’s the “physical types” instead. Like you catch a wild Steavee, and it can evolve into a rock, poison, ground, flying, bug, ghost, or fighting type

Kleavor can actually spawn naturally in a specific spot in the canyon area of the terarium, implying it hasn't gone extinct. And the terarium is in unova, which is based off new york state. Who's to say it won't be in PLZA Kalos?

What if the ultimate weapon hit pokemon eggs...and those eggs turn into megas...If you come to think about it, a Pokemon Egg contains all genetics to fully evolve a Pokemon.

Strikor a bug and ice type a new Scyther evolution, Strikor's ice covered lances are capable of shattering giant borders with a single thrust.
While Kleavor getting a Mega would make sense, I feel with Scizor and thus Mega-Scizor already being a counterpart to Mega-Pinsir and Mega-Heracross somewhat, it'd be a bit much to add another Mega to the group.
As for if Kleavor would even exist alongside Scizor in Kalos... I could actually see us getting a slightly better look at how Scizor replaced Kleavor in Z-A. It would make sense if Scizor already naturally existed at that point in Kalos, since it should've already gone through industrialization and thus have a sizeable amount of processed metal for Metal Coats. For Kleavor though... well, I can at least see a need for it to be there if we're expanding and rebuilding Lumiose, its woodcutting abilities would be needed... but would it naturally exist in Kalos? Personally I feel yes, as long as there's not enough metal (coats) to go around and help them all evolve to Scizor, but their habitat, the forests, should be shrinking, woodcutting-technology should be developing past a need for them, even disregarding them potentially needing Black Augurite.

If it happens, I could see it going where Kleavor generates the same extreme heat that Scizor does wehn Mega Evolved, however its shell being made of rock rather than metal lets it withstand and utilize the heat possibly becoming bug/fire.
I hope kleavor mega is actually balanced cause its signature move is pretty good

No, actually they can make the axes small, and more lethal by making a steel type, or wait for it, they can make the axes into swords. In either case, I think Mega Kleavor should exists, and boy of boy its going to be cool. But I also want them to add mega Scyther, because all of them have same stats, and to be evolved or not is Scyther's choice.
I can't get behind the no guard one hit ko move because we all know GF would just make kleavor too bad for it to be anything other than a gimmick, and I'd like to see Kleavor have the chance to be an actually solid choice for battling. Plus it's make the main game way too easy, unless they make you wait til post game to get it (which would be more bad than good for me honestly)

about your banning a move question for vgc. very recently, i think only 1 or 2 regulations prior to the current (a month or 2 ago), they banned dragon cheer. the reason it was banned was because it was glitched (the buff stayed for 5 turns even if you switched the mon out). so it wasnt banned for being too strong. but they have banned a move before
also all ohko moves have a type immunity. fissure is ground, so cant hit flying types. horn drill and guillotine are normal. so cant hit ghosts. and even tho ice doesnt have a type immune to it, they made it so sheer cold doesnt work on ice types. and no guard doesnt bypass type immunity. so while it would be broken, it wouldnt be impossible to counter a no guard ohko move. protect also still blocks it. and itd have low pp. along with mega kleavor presumably being slow af like you suggested. ironically you mightve made kleavor too weak in this hypothetical scenario. itd probably be a niche cheese strat pokemon

If kleavor were to mega evolve, i think its arms would ne kinda like kingler. As in one arm is a more better axe, like it looks sharpened and almost steel. While the other arm would be more of a great sword. Kinda like the Ravager great sword from monster hunter.

I think that most of the hisuian pokémon are still alive in the present day pokémon games but are just rare and you don't see them in the sinnoh games though a few I would say are extinct

I like the idea of mega evolution returning but not really being the focus. Instead new battle bond form being the focus and what better way to annoumce this in a trailer than them showing off battle bond klevour mabey it's even fighting a mega scizor when it's first sent out?

Kleavor getting a mega evolution doesn't make sense at all. And no, it doesn't have to get mega evolution. Giving it a mega contradicts the fact that Kleavor existed before mega existed. This is why mega evolution shouldn't come back at all. Because of absurd theories/speculation like this.

Uh, no, not true at all. Megas are in an alternate timeline and have existed for thousands (if not millions) of years, well before the time that Legends: Arceus is set in.
Grim reaper/executioner dark type kleavor would be cool
