I'm happy about most of the winners so far, but i had some issues with couple of them! For me Babylon had better score, Elvis had better costume design and Angela Basset was better actress in the supporting role! But other than that i agree with majority of the picks for Oscars! EEAAO deserved to sweep in all but 1 category (which i mentioned), so it deserved 6 rather than 7 imho! But all in all this year Oscars were great!...I didn't sit through it all still, but it was good enough to at least grab my attention to watch winners speeches and oppening monologue (which wasn't bad at all this time, especially surprising comnig from someone like Kimmel...) Also "All Quiet on the Western Front" overachieved! It should have been 2 oscars instead of 4 and they should have been tied 2 with Babylon, while Elvis and Babylon underachieved...But the most importan thing is that the ones, who deserved to win the most - has ended up winning! Things that matter!...Except for Angela Basset off course...that was biggest upset of the night by far...
@@daniverse9625 Also i would like to correct myslef! I meant Elvis should have won for hairstyling and makeup, not costume designs over Whale! I'm actually fine with Wakanda Forever winning costume designs, even though i have seen other people being a little upset about it...but it's hairstyling and makeup which i found really really odd!
@@daniverse9625. Don’t you mean precursor, singular? The SAG. I really like Jamie Lee Curtis, but her performance was JUNK. She absolutely shouldn’t have won, as she gave the worst performance in the category. Talk about nepo. Personally, I would have voted for Kerry Condon.
@@daniverse9625 Well, the show is Oscars 2023 and it takes place in 2023, so i don't see why it should be 2022...they awarding the movies from 2022, but the show itself is in 2023, so...
@@ntlespino But the award show is called - Oscars 2023, not Oscars 2022, which makes it irrelevant which movies it honours...if show called Oscars 2023 itself is called that way, then it's what should be titled ! It's not the rocket science...

Good bits as a good show, happy with the winners and such although the "Naatu Naatu" number was great. Good recap of it all.
Thanks, also remember to like Michael.

Bassett was an upset, until Curtis started winning major precusors.

2022? It is 2023 believe it or not.
Yes. I actually originally had it at 2023, but changed it. I was a bit daunted about it.
2023, not 2022...
Sorry, when it comes to the Oscars, it's about honoring the films of last year. I changed it 2023, but wasn't sure if it fit.
