I bought a fully loaded F-150 Platinum. Had a 2021 Lariat with the 3.5 loved that truck but I drive north a lot towing boats and trailers. Great towing motor, great on gas. Had no issues and traded it at 140,000
Great review and I really enjoyed the updated features for the 2025 models. I currently have a 2012 F15O XLT with a 3.5 V6 Eco boost engine, that has 155,000 miles. I enthralled by the new designs and engine options. I only wish that the prices were lower.
The truck now days are slowly slipping away from the average contractors, these prices are absolutely ridiculous and catering to the rich and famous… wow, no wonder Toyota wants to bring to the US the small capable truck for the average contractors. Still love my Ranger.
Buying a 2025 Tremor model WITH the Coyote V8. Now that I know the around the RIGHT price it should cost I have some wiggle room along with my trade in and nice down payment to offer the bank, I should be able to get exactly the Tremor and package I want. I keep my trucks for about 7-10 years before buying a new one.
38K for a Base truck is way to much. Not everyone is looking for a high end truck, some of us work for a living. What needs to happen in the work truck market is a Manufacturer that has a truck line 1500, 2500, 3500 that is maid to Work Not Play. To keep that price point down AC and two wheel drive are the base options. Of course this type of truck would have to be ordered the way you would want it. I’m sure I’m not the only person that is thinking this way.
Everyone but GM has dropped the diesel in the 150/1500 trucks because governments have forced the EV . Small diesels are more fuel efficient than gas and the lithium batteries are too costly to replace and are a fire hazard. I would never park an EV in a garage until they ditch the LI batteries.
Gasoline powered trucks are going hit a point of stagnation. I highly doubt Ford is going to change much on the F-150 other than raise the price by 2 to 3%. Ford motor company in South needs to recoup previous years losses. The only thing I can see for dropping is the raptor r in the next two years.
There nice extra skinny frames that rust out faster awesome cameras that spy on you that’s super cool ! And there $60k more than there worth .im buying two or three no thanks .
Ford doesn’t make enough Raptors or Raptor Rs. And their dealers tack on an extra $25,000. So the average person can’t afford either. That’s the way Ford works!
I took a close look at all the 1/2 ton trucks and drove them all and after 3 months of researching and looking at them carefully for me there was only one winner , TUNDRA , it is the best 1/2 ton truck to date . Or should I call it a 3/4 ton truck ? Hmmm
I don't want one of their damm 6 cylinder trucks with a turbo on it. i have a f150 with the 5.0 with 243000 miles with no issues. Its a great engine and thats why they want yo grt rid of it. The ford CEO is a idiot.
2025 Ford products will rat you out to the cops when you're speeding and report to your insurance company. You can shove this where the sun don't shine.

And the 5.0 is NOT going away!
Yeah I didn’t think it was going either
It's says the 5.0 is being replaced by the ecoboost
@@jeromep3182it says the 5.0 is being replaced by the ecoboost
Only with supercharger ! What’s that going to cost ?…….
That's correct. Just ordered a Lariat which the 5.0 is standard.

guess you missed the part where Ford announced it was halting all its EV production.
I guess you missed it also, they announced they would scale back, not stop
No way they will get rid of the 5.0 that's just stupid.
They didn't, this video implies they have, but it is WRONG! 5.0 is still an option in some configurations.
@@hackatak Things have changed , It is gone.
@@mikegiroux1959 WRONG, just built myself a 2025 F150 Lariat FX4, Crew Cab 6.5in bed, with the 5.0L. Facts matter.
Only gone on the Platinum and King Ranch models. The rest you can get with the 5.0

Unless they have dropped the prices 10,000 per model they are still not worth the cost. None of them are.

They are Not dropping the 5.0 V8

They better keep that Coyote. 5.0 ..? Roush
I would like to offer a suggestion as an improvement option for ford only. I don’t think anyone has thought of
You say increased towing for the 2025 models but what about payload? Payload is the problem not towing capacity.
It has the greater-payload due to the aluminum body panels..
That big infotainment screen looks like someone glued a iPad to the dash.
Prices?
Not a fan of eco boost Ford should make a v8 no hybrid no turbo just a pushrod v8
$3,000-$6,000 more than their 2024 counterpart.
For the price of a decent condo… I’ll stick with my simple Chevy and still get v8

What? I paid MSRP for my Raptor.
Nice add, but grossly misleading!
Ford and Ram are charging too much for their truck and getting greedier year over year. They want to charge for the keypad as an option going forward?
No reason not to get a used low mileage 2004 -2012 truck
Might seam high ! No not at all I want to pay more than that please take my money !
unreliable engines, too many recalls
Fuck the prices

Well your comment didn't age well lol😅😅
I did the same thing, but it was the Ford F150 tremor.
The tundra sucks
That's hilarious. I drove one as well to compare. There is no comparison. The F150 outworks the Tundra at all levels. Nice try though.
The new tundras are expensive as well...that engine is new while the ford eco boost been refined for so looooong
SOUNDS HIGH IT IS HIGH AT FORD YOU GET LESS FOR MORE $$$!!!
Go Ford. Still best selling truck for over 40 years. Bye bye Ram, Chevy & Nissan.

Completely Agree. No 5.0. No sale.
@@cletushound buh bye
@@pathunter7003see ya…. In the line waiting on turbos and cam phasers.
@@cletushound nobody has ever seen that line yet.
Make sure to get another jug of oil to feed that five oh
Yeah but how many people have you lost because of your quality in the last few years me for one ....quit building shit
The King Ranch, and Platinum.....with pitiful 6 cylinder engines. You can keep the exploding junk turbos.
Stop trying to make a truck like a car go back to columb shift
I have a column shift in my XLT
No thanks I’ll keep my RAM TRX , torque monster 😂😂😂
No thanks ford
The powertrain is one of the worst in the industry. I had two with bad trannys.
doesnt mean they are all bad , i have never had a transmission issue ...how do you drive ?
Ok
