    I thought my jacket wasn’t working. Fully charged battery and it wouldn’t turn on when I pressed the button. Just checked out this video and realized I needed to hold the button down to turn it on. lol Doesn’t just turn on with a quick click.

    Wish it had a dual zipper. Jacket rides up when sitting in a truck or tractor due to its heavy duty material. If it unzipped up, it would alleviate that issue.

    Could you charge the battery whilst in use in the jacket via a powerbank? Looking at options to extend run time of the 2ah. Powerbanks are a lot cheaper than a new 3ah!

    • @hammerandhome
      @hammerandhome  Год назад +2

      I just tried that out. Unfortunately it turns the jacket off if you try and charge the battery while also using the battery

      This is one of my biggest complaints as well. Forget how annoying it is talking to homeowners, there's the fact of driving, walking through home Depot picking up supplies and whatnot. I could live without the stiff Velcro sleeves as well, definitely not complaining. Not when we hit -40 last weekend.

    Thanks for the review 👍 Question though: as someone who heats up quickly and then has to take off a jacket (and then put it on again when I'm feeling the chill), would it be too much to continually work in this jacket, vs say the heated vest, where if you need the heat you can turn it on, but once you've warmed up you can turn the jacket off and still be able to 'breathe'?.. not sure if I've made much sense there.

    • @hammerandhome
      @hammerandhome  Год назад +1

      I have the same issue alway being hot. I find that on cold days if I’m to hot, I’ll turn off the jacket and my own body heat is being reflected back to me. I can especially feel it on the back panel. Sorry for the late reply.
