I've always really liked this Fat Boy Slim song, and I absolutely love the original song "Take Yo Praise" by Camille Yarbrough from which the vocal sample was taken. If you haven't heard that, do yourself a favor and check it out on RUclips.

Taking an electronic song based around samples, turning it into a folk song and making it sound like that's always how it was meant to sound. That really speaks to the soul of the original, the talent of the musicians and the mark of a great cover.
when Fatboy slim does it it's a cover. you should suss out the actual original.

Give the percussionist a raise, 4 different beat patterns at the same time -- most folks like me have a problem with getting 1 right maybe 2
...and so much better than if they'd just programmed it into some machine.

My fave RDC cover. The music, all the components, are superb. Toni’s smile is infectious. Watching Reina looking to Toni spreads the joy. Great job all. I can’t believe this isn’t the most recognized cover ever. Just saw the band play in New Orleans last night. Got to chat with the girls after the show.
