I'm glad the video has helped you, I just bought a cheap £10-15 bracket from a seller on ebay - I'm sure this TV is around 42" and doesn't weigh a lot. Just make sure the wall bracket fixings are good etc.

I have two lg smart tiv's one is a webos and the other is "smart". Even though other apps find both of them on our wi-fi network, this software does not find the "smart" set. It can't connect. Meanwhile, my LG G4 phone connects to it perfectly. My wife got an apple phone so she could use facetime with the grandkids. We have non-proprietary apps for that now. This is the only apple phone we've ever owned and the only one we ever will. Done. It's like a beta vcr.

I did not know it incorporated a remote that legit though and its perfect because Samsung stopped putting ir blasters in their phones after the S7, so apps like Peel Remote stopped working.

Dinakar M no. You need to have Wifi where you connect your phone and tv. Your phone is not on wifi when you turn up hotspot, only your tv, the phone will still be on 4G or 3G. If you have a like tablet, you can try sharing hotspot on phone to tv and to the tablet. But sharing hotspot from phone wont give you the best experience unless you have like a 300megabit net :)

My damn LG tv problem is the well known issue of LG’s notorious WiFi failing (see the internet snd it’s thousands reporting this issue) and so none of the remote control apps you can download work since they expect it to be connected to WiFi.
make sure both your phone and tv are on the same wifi - probably are, then go to the tv settings and see if remote control is ticked/enabled and try again

you may have to enable a setting on your tv that allows remote connections to your tv with the actual remote control that came with the tv, but give it a try and see if it will connect?
if your tv and phone are connected to the same wifi then there should be a setting on the tv for remotr control or remote access, check that and try again. let me know if it works?
I just got a message on my lg smart tv that an android phone is trying to connect to it. I hit decline. Does anyone know how someone did that? If your router also provides your wireless network (most do), then just check that somebody isn't connected to it. It my also be worth checking to see if your tv has bluetooth or provides its own wifi network etc, there will be a simple explanation to this.
make sure your tv is connected to wifi and not disconnecting etc, also ensure that your tv has remote contol enabled in the settings it may have updated and lost the setting

You can't because the iPhone used screen mirroring and the LG doesn't have it although a Samsung TVs do it just depends.
If you have a Fire TV stick then you can do android phones and iPhone screen mirroring via the AirScreen app - hope that helps.
