I guess im randomly asking but does any of you know of a way to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot my account password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Dillon Gregory Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Fates Warning is my favorite band of all time. That band changed my life, and the way I think. They are geniuses. I have been listening to them since "The Spectre Within"(John Arch). But, when I heard darkness in a different light, they really blew my mind. The first song, "One Thousand Fires" is so powerful, technically heavy, refined, beautiful, awesome,........( well, I've been sitting here for 15 minutes trying to think of the right words, and none of the words seem to do it justice). That whole album is a masterpiece. Along with ALL of their albums. But after so many years as a band, that album holds its own category for Fates Warning.
They definitely changed the way I think about music. I "didn't get them" at first. But then my brain adapted, and suddenly, I discovered much more complex music than I had every appreciated before.
If you ask me, it's Jim, and John Arch for greatness. But hell, you're right as well, Ray is a damn fine singer..one of the best. He is from my town San Antonio...my friend knew HIS friend back in the 80's, and he remembers when they threw a party for Ray when he got the Fates gig...he said it was great, Ray was all smiles the whole night, and just couldn't believe he was about to start singing for FW.
+nathantim I don't get the Arch obsession of old fans. Alder is much more dynamic and interesting, as opposed to Arch who is nasally and mostly stays in the higher register. Alder is one of meta's finest singers imo.
I dig the diligence of whoever was handling the closed captioning. When you typed in nothing for about a minute but then followed it up with the word ‘bah,’ having nothing to do with anything being sung or spoken at the time…total mood. Kudos!
The most underrated band in world history. There should have been no seats available at all. Kicking myself for not seeing them at Webster theatre then and more recently! (I'm from a few towns away from them originally in CT.)
I'm always impressed with Ray's humidity.. All business all Class, you can tell he's someone who is cool to kick'it with... FATES WARNING!!!! DEFINITELY ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF ALL TIME... 🤘🎶🤘🎶🤘🎶🤘🎶🤘🎶
1 of the Best Singers around I'm a Huge Fan of F.W. seen them twice Live i will never forget how Awesome they were and i how felt Thanks for the Smiles & memories !
Thad Joseph yeah, except "Theories Of Flight" topped it :D:D Fates are like Maiden....... they keep spitting out one masterpiece after another, they don´t give a fuck :D
Ray's performance is great. It's very hard to wake up first thing in the morning especially after a show and be able to sing your best. I sang in bar bands for years, and the morning after wouldn't even talk for a couple hours. Also if you feel out of your element, you will kind of hold back at first. He sounds great. (Stop Smoking!)
Ray sounds great right here. There has been some criticism that Ray has lost some range over the years. But he sounds great here, And on the new Album also.
It's the local news. Fates is never on the radio in the US, so this was great free advertising for them. I don't think those newscasters were expecting the awesomeness that flooded their ears.
I think it’s great! Any exposure to the mindless people is great. I guess your sad, because you want to see them on a big time late night talk show like Jimmy Kimmel?
1:06 - 1:41 Woman:.. "sort of categorize...blabla...how would you describe your own metal...." Ray "...almost more of just a progressive rock band I think at this point..." My translation got some errors I know, but I just like to emphasize (took a look at dictionary lol) Ray´s answer, that´s exactly what I think about Fates Warning, a non-conventional metal band. That´s probably the greatest reason I admire them so much.
this is exactly what i think about it, but it is not the female failure. she works for a company and has the honour to talk with fw, a band she never heard before and she puts out some questions without any sense, ray is a gentleman indeed, jim is just bored, it would be quiet interesting to take a brainticket, but i think there will be blablabla, i am here to promote my new song, weather is ok, the chick also, nice ass, blablabla also okay do not listen to what she blablabla, but it do not make any hurt, will get out here as soon as possible
I would be thrilled to see these legendary band members in person, but the reporter doesn't seem to be informed nor care much, wonder what kind of music she grew with and is usually into.
Just once I would like to see a band like FW be introduced by a female host like this that actually is a solid fan of heavy music and knows the bands well.
The studio hands may not be familiar with the rules of clapping at a live performance - If the performers stop playing, and you know the song, clap when it is over. If you don't know the song, don't clap until you hear clapping... Actually, probably none of them there were familiar with the song :-/
I was introduced to Fates Warning with Ray Alder. Then I heard the Arch stuff and was almost horrified... But try singing along with Arch while driving your car alone, and you may develop an appreciation :-D
@@nottoosuckyreviews5211 but range doesn't translate into good music. Plenty of singers as you know have fantastic range, but doesn't mean a damn if the songs don't follow suit. The latter year of Fates are strong because of the production and more dynamics of the vocals.
I'll give them a pass since they were on a FOX morning show, and it's a general viewing audience. What's interesting is the host did call them Progressive Metal at the very beginning.
Brian Reading that´s because Arch era of the band was more like progressive power metal and it also had pretty heavy production...... but since Ray joined them, they´ve been playing classic prog metal just like Dream Theater etc.....
I love Fates and I've been here since "Guardian" unfortunately this is an example of what that have become since Jim took control of the band after Guardian. In many ways they are like Dream Theater, except DT is a true band. Fates is JIm's toy. I wish he'd take it out and play with it more often.
Jim is the stitching to all Fates songs. Amazing talent Ray is great fit with jim .
Fates Warning totally changed my perspective on what good music truly is.
That's right, I agree with You
I guess im randomly asking but does any of you know of a way to log back into an instagram account??

@Dillon Gregory it did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy:D
Thanks so much you really help me out !
Fates Warning is THE REAL DEAL! Real musicians, with a passion for greatness!
That voice woww.

Theories is even better imo
They definitely changed the way I think about music. I "didn't get them" at first. But then my brain adapted, and suddenly, I discovered much more complex music than I had every appreciated before.
Whenever you put Jim Matheos and Ray Alder in the same room you are instantly bound for greatness.
If you ask me, it's Jim, and John Arch for greatness. But hell, you're right as well, Ray is a damn fine singer..one of the best. @@NS1. 👏👏👏👏

@@NS1. Ray is literally choking on his own cigarettes at this point. Arch's voice is still pristine.
Ray is always amazing. And I think Mike is playing beautifully here in this video.
this is what stellar musicians like these guys can do: just casually do an awesome performance. Loved that!
Ray said this appearance was early in the morning and his voice wasnt 100%. I was at the show that night, it was also Jim Matheos birthday
‘Darkness in a Different Light’ is a masterpiece!
I've been a fan since 85.
Ray Alder sings amazing!
When you can make art like this out of a breakup then you have helped us all.
I dig the diligence of whoever was handling the closed captioning. When you typed in nothing for about a minute but then followed it up with the word ‘bah,’ having nothing to do with anything being sung or spoken at the time…total mood. Kudos!
Ray Alder is just as amazing as ever! ❤️️
The most underrated band in world history. There should have been no seats available at all. Kicking myself for not seeing them at Webster theatre then and more recently! (I'm from a few towns away from them originally in CT.)
Everytime I turn to this I think the depths of night and Rays voice brings light to the dark
I love the energy and dedication in this song 🤘🏼
BEAUTIFUL SONG AND GREAT PERFORMANCE
Excellent. Glad to hear from these guys again.
Great lyrics. I think that’s why I love this band so much.
I still listen to X every day, no joke. This one is awesome as well. I have loved Fates since Awaken The Guardian
I listen to X everyday also. Can't go one day without listening to Fates Warning!
I'm always impressed with Ray's humidity..
All business all Class, you can tell he's someone who is cool to kick'it with...
FATES WARNING!!!!
DEFINITELY ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF ALL TIME...
🤘🎶🤘🎶🤘🎶🤘🎶🤘🎶
His voice is incredible! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Damn, that must've been quite the treat for people who've never heard Fates before. Ray's voice is great on this.
Ray, The Voice of Metal!!!!!!! Congratulation Guys!!!

Great band!
Fates Warning is the best!
wow he's aged......so have i. he sounds awesome. (been a fan since day one of no exit)
me too man
On the same boat
I too am getting older
Saw them 4 times, met them twice!
🤘🖤🤘
FABULOUS thanks guys ♥️❗
Awesome! I can't wait for the next album, Darkness is going to be hard to top, it's simply one of the best albums I've heard in the past 30+ years.
Thad Joseph Fates Warning did top the album with " Theories of Flight " , which is possibly the best album from any band in the last 15 years.
Thad Joseph yeah, except "Theories Of Flight" topped it :D:D Fates are like Maiden....... they keep spitting out one masterpiece after another, they don´t give a fuck :D
FANTASTIC BAND!
Ray is best singing in this pitch.
Fates warning coming for you 2021
These Guys are #1
OUTSTANDING.
Amazing
awesome!
Very cool. Didnt know he was from Texas.
texas? austin? i love you guys

Happy 53th birthday Jim Matheos! :D
Music starts at 3:04
Thank you for sharing! *thumbs UP* Jim Matheos celebrates a birthday and nobody mentions it on the very morning of his 51st?!
Vaguely sounds like Sevendust's acoustic stuff from the Time Travelers and Bonfires album.
Fuckin SPEECHLESS !!!!
Ray sounds like gold!!
Just bought this on iTunes but I like the acoustic version here a bit better, what a great voice. Last time I heard this band was in 1987.
FUCKING AMAZING
So sad that they have to perform at a program like this. The performance is great though, the song sounds great in the acoustic format
It's the local news. Fates is never on the radio in the US, so this was great free advertising for them. I don't think those newscasters were expecting the awesomeness that flooded their ears.

Love my FATES
Видно было,что Джим не со всем согласен,но промолчал,как истинный интеллигент.Красавчегггг!!

❤❤❤
No Exit . First album with Ray back in 1987. Best album I’m IMO.
05:40... LOL
GOOSE BUMPS.
Ray, I fkg love you.
Freaking excellence!!!
I would be thrilled to see these legendary band members in person, but the reporter doesn't seem to be informed nor care much, wonder what kind of music she grew with and is usually into.
Ray is fuckin great all the time.
I wonder if the Girl Ray was singing about came from a super messed up family.
I bet she literally learned about what heavy metal is from one of her coworkers about 5 minutes before they went live on air.
why on earth would it be otherwise?
Just once I would like to see a band like FW be introduced by a female host like this that actually is a solid fan of heavy music and knows the bands well.
🤘😇🤘 👑😎 🤘😇🤘
It’s a lane show, but this performance is stellar
wtf, it should be jim talking....
*****
he did talk in some arch/matheos interviews; don't think he smiled though haha
I'm pretty sure Jim has Asperger's, LOL.

I think with time we tire. I love fates but the John arch stuff sucks balls. Constantly high is annoying. No dynamics. Idk.

Filho do Tiririca
LOL, this woman has no idea who they are.
Now she does. If she has a brain.
Wow, I didn't know George Lopez could sing!
"Progressive rock"
Really Alder? I HAVE heard the album and it is NOT rock. It's metal all the way.
+GunvorPlays Honestly, if you compare this to their earlier stuff, it's not very metallic.
I'll give them a pass since they were on a FOX morning show, and it's a general viewing audience. What's interesting is the host did call them Progressive Metal at the very beginning.

Denial Metal that's not right :(
Yeah, hacks me off, too, man.

DT. Suck.
I lost interest watching this because of the narrator's juvenile immature cussing grow up kid youre no good

TERRIBLE.
