-with your pattern on the fold line, measure and cut a square 18" tall and 17" wide.
-double fold the top edge(s) over 1/2", iron, and top stitch.
-placing your webbing 5" in from the side seam, top stitch each strap to the right side of the bag along the bottom and both sides.
-sew the side seams with 1/2" seam allowance.
-optional: join the bottom fold line to the side seam, so that they both run parallel to each other. pin and sew a perpendicular line 1 and 7/8" from the bottom corner.
-flip the bag inside out. done!

Good, succinct tutorial....and I like how you illustrate the method of attaching the strapping down the length of the bad and leave that little gap for folding. Nice tip! Clear and to the point...thank you. Very easy to follow. If I have to watch one more tutorial with someone complaining about a cold, their kids, the money they spent, or their vacation my brain is going to 🤯. There supposed to be how too's and you did it wonderfully.

I love this pattern and have made it a few times. I had a few yards of cheap duck cloth canvas that frayed a lot and my project would fall apart really easily or have larger seams with raw edges on the inside. Today I made the bag but used french seams for the sides and it looks great on the inside and will help with fraying!
