You nailed it! Beautiful bathroom 😊 thanks for showing your attention to detail and the “little things” that should be done before painting. So realistic. Love your videos ❤
The term “millennial grey” personally offends me 😂 because 1. I’m a millennial and don’t understand the term. 2. I like grey. 3. My place has grey cabinets and I don’t really like it but feel like I have to like them to stand up for my home turf. 4. I forgot what #4 was but I’ll come back if I remember. 5. I can never remember if grey is spelled with an “a” or with an “e”.
I was on a different post saying something similar and someone tried to argue with me about "millennial gray" being a trend among millennials. Which as a millennial I don't know any millennial who used gray as a paint option. Millennials grew up with lots of color. I had over 90 likes. Millennial gray has nothing to do with millennials lol.
@@soufwesthoustontx I do think a lot of other women my age seem to gravitate more toward gray or white rather than the beige and almond neutral tones of our childhoods. (I was horrified recently to see some people in their early 20s decorating their living room "'90s" style complete with mostly beige everything and maroon accents. Now I understand how my mom felt the first time the '70s trended again after her childhood, which was when I was a preteen. 🤣)
@@mungbean345 I grew up in the 90's and don't remember anything being beige lol. Maybe it has to do with the area. I don't know anyone who picks gray or beige for interior design either. Last time I chose a paint color it was mod green.
Omg! I have the same IKEA cabinet. I purchased it for my wine glasses and serving accessories.. love seeing it in the bathroom outside of their showroom(s)🤎🤎🤎
Absolutely beautiful and that renter's wallpaper has become one of my new refresh obsessions( some is arriving tomorrow 😂) and I'm refreshing my bathroom cabinet with a few other things after having my tub reglazed 😊. I put extra rolls of tissue in a small ottoman so no one has to ask for any from the porcelain throne! So relaxing and definitely appeals to our Gemini creativity and constant thinking🥰. Thanks A for ALWAYS inspiring and teaching us💖❤💐.
Ooo, love the toilet paper in the ottoman solution. i now dread peel and stick wallpaper, cause i accidentally let this get stuck to itself, but the final look IS satisfying 😅
I love the accent wall! A friend of mine has a half bathroom with shiny gold paint on ~every~ wall and it’s just too much, especially in a small space.
In my opinion, wall primer is great if you're painting directly to drywall as it sucks up a lot of paint. If you're repainting a wall of similar or darker color, I find 2 coats of paint are all that is needed. I painted my baseboards the same as the wall color too. It elongates the walls.
You did a great job! I'm one of those millennials who loves gray AND vibrant colors, so the tones in that wallpaper mural are perfect for me. Where did you find it? 🤦♀️ Strike that; I forgot to look in the description! 😅 Your makeover just has gotten me so excited and inspired. Picture a Golden Retriever next to a pool in August. 🤣
it was easy to take down and reposition. the squeegee came with it. seems like wallpaper companies generally automatically include one with your order.
I love this wallpaper. It's so similar and so much cheaper than the gucci one 😂 I have a question tho, have you worked with this brand of wallpaper before? Did you had any problems when removing it? Because I'm renting too, and I'm affraid I'll have to redo the wall when I leave 😅🥰
yea, $600 is crazy! this is my first time using wallpaper at all so i dont have anything to compare it to however i can say it was easy to reposition. since my family owns, they dont have plans to remove it, but the adhesive seems like it would be easy to remove (especially since i accidentally let the paper stick to itself several times and still managed to recover)
also id recommend getting a design where the print is pretty much floor to ceiling because since this one didnt have much going on at the top it made it a lot harder to line up the panels. thats why the paper got stuck because i had to peel alot of the backing away prematurely.
can't wait for you to reach 1M, like lowkey want to gatekeep your channel (this is a lie bc i bring up your youtube to any conversation that has to do with interiors)
It's likely to be DAP DryDex Spackling. It's pink when damp, but fades to white as it dries, so that you can see when it's fully dry and ready to sand smooth. It helps fill in holes and uneven parts of walls. :)
no they dont pay me. if the video generates revenue, great, but if not, id still do it anyway. i consider it play, and am grateful i can be of service.

i guess we’ll never kno 😝😏
it's nearly midnight but i am suddenly inspired to redecorate my small bathroom lol
lol, what else is there to do at 12am. rearranging your bedroom until 2 in the morning is a canon event😅

i was so over this wallpaper 🚮 😅

There you are! 🎉

Gaz u put everything except the best side to that dish..avocado!!! Lol
Hi, great video as usual!! Is the wallpaper easy to remove? Also, where did you get that brush/squeegee you clean the floor with? Ty!
it was easy to take down and reposition. the squeegee came with it. seems like wallpaper companies generally automatically include one with your order.

Can we apply market wax in opposite direction of hair and pull in the direction of hair like we do in sugar wax ?
sugar, yes, but for traditional wax its not the usual technique. im not aware if theres specific explanation for why its used in the manner it is.
Where did you get the floor cleaner with squeegee?
amzn.to/3Wvy1vx
beautiful
thanks
Watching this in my bathroom because I’m supposed to be taking a shower soon, but now I’m looking at the walls like… 😗
Lol, and you are so real for that. now get in!

its outside the bathroom, kind of like a walk thru closet situation.
Whats the pink stuff you are applying on the wall
spackle to fill holes. it dries white.

no worries. sharing is caring ✨
I don't allow people to walk around inside my house with their shoes on, ever
same. in this case i needed to wear them for stability while on the step later, which definitely reaffirmed that policy 😂
Cute

ummm....YOU. DID. THAT.
