Carving Foam - Sculpting Prickly Pear Cactus For A Ghost Town

- hollywoodhaunter.com Carved & Sculpted Foam Cactus Prop: The Prickly Pear For Haunted Ghost Town. In this live performance Jeana takes you through all the steps to carve and create this Styrofoam prickly pear cactus prop for this years Halloween theme at our home called Grave Rock Gulch. This spooky glowing prickly pear will live in our old haunted and abandoned western mining ghost town Halloween display. She sculpts foam patties and uses toothpicks & BBQ skewers for cactus needles. The base is a large piece of foam painted brown to look like the ground which is glued to a square sheet of plywood to add some weight preventing it from tipping over. This foam prop is painted with wildfire glow in the dark paint and will have a couple of black lights near by.

No worries Ricky, it's getting mad crazy up in here with the Halloween. We haven't been able to watch very many videos and are getting behind because we are in full swing. Hope everything is going well and you're still having fun building new props.

Oh Wow, I wish I would have seen this a long time ago. I desperately wanted to make a Saguaro Cactus the year I did a western theme but gave up on the idea as Halloween got too close. I would have used your idea for a cactus for sure instead and finished! Love it

Two things, that looks great, second, almost every video channel ive watched lately ive seen an oak gumball machine very close to mine. XD
Also wildfire glow paint? That looks really good and I need a white glow paint. I've got white glow powder but no paint.
