Thank you for taking so much time in explaining your stitches. You are very talented and tonight I have watch you make about 6 different stitches. Love them all and what to try each and everyone. Thank you so much again. your grandson sounds so sweet in the background .
These videos are fantastic. I have discovered that I cannot learn knit stitches without watching it as it is done, so I dearly appreciate seeing unusual stitches to try.
I love the way you ask: isn't it pretty??? I tend to answer you saying yes! Lol Your voice is so soft and your accent gives me a very comforting feeling, so it makes me relaxed to learn your stitches... needless to say I looooove your channel and already used some of your stitches... thanks so much!!!!😊😊
you probably dont care but does any of you know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
@Jordan Keith i really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process now. Takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.

I'm always looking for stitches, techniques, yarns, etc. As soon I found your channel I subscribed because I love the way you handle not only yarn and needes but yourself. You have the patience, the voice and the expertise to teach. Congratulations and please, don't ever quit., Your new fan!i
Óla 👋 Wahou I love this stitch 😍♥️ it’s really a beautiful stich 🤩 and the way you explain and show is so easy to understand and do ! 👏🙌 thank you so much for sharing your great know-how and for being so patient in your explanations 🙏💝 Lots of hugs and kisses for you and Ana from France 👋😘😘😘
I wanted to say Thank you for sharing your knowledge in your craft. I am a rather new knitter and after learning Knit and Purls, This stitch here was my 1st knitting project i made a scarf from this beautiful stitch! I have also made a beautiful baby blanket! I am a big fan and love and learn from your videos! Thank you again =)
I'm having the most fun following you! Doing a sweater, and made the back with your three stitch lace pattern. Going to make the sleeves and use this star lace stitch. You make knitting easy and do-able! Thank you so much.
I am a quilter, needlepoint, etc, etc,,,, and went to s knit shop last winter and loved knitting! I walked out with enough yarn snd needles to make s scarf but ran out to finish ends snd I'm stuck in finishing ends, tying off or however you call it. I need help casting in snd off. Your video has inspired me to get out my knitting box snd play around with it. Thank you! Very very well done!
+Sandra Henderson Good! I'm glad. Knitting is wonderful. Get some matching yarn for the ends of your scarf, so you can wear it! So nice to show off what you make!
Fantastic video and such a beautiful stitch! I've been wanting to get into lace knitting for a while now, and now I think I finally have the confidence to start!
Lovely stitch! Love watching your hands! I have made three shawls and each time I make sure the project is in a different stitch. Can't wait to use this one. Love the suggestion below regarding crescent shawl increase - I am assuming purl and increase until enough stitches for increments of 4, plus 1. Please confirm that this is accurate. Thank you!!! :)
Nice pattern! Heads-up on 2 things in the written instructions though: you might want to change the equal sign to a + sign in 4=1 for # of sts to co, and I think step 1 should end with "k last 2 sts"? Anyway, thanks for an easy, pretty design!
Your "yarnover" is actually a 'reverse yarnove'r because you wrap the yarn over the needle from back to front and then under from front to back - instead of under from back to front and then over from front to back which is a true yarnover. So. Should I knit a yarnover (which you tell us to do) or a reverse yarnover (like you knit)?
+Natalie Ford I'm doing a star stitch project that's basically the same stitch as this the difference being that I do a normal yarn over and a row of knits in between each row of stars - or flat knots - and it looks pretty much exactly the same. You can change up the size of your needle depending how open you want it to look. So I do not believe it matters, also you can do purls or knits, as long as you pick one and stick with it. (changes which side of your work is the right and wrong side is all)
Hi there, I Love this, but no matter how often I do it it comes up with the trellis shaping but instead of one hole in the centre of each, I have four smaller ones! Still very pretty, it I would like the same result as you!
just curious, what is the significance of knitting the three stitches through the back as opposed to knitting them like a regular knit stitch? will it make much of a difference either way? i am learning this stitch for the first time and i like it!
hi, thank you for the Star Lace Stitch, it is beautiful. Q: after cast-on when i start Row #1 am i K3 into the cast on stitches? or should i knit one entire row first? thanks
Hello Joanne, I'm in love with this Star Lace pattern but can't seem to make it work in the round. Do the stitches remain 4+1 when I cast on or do I have to cast on multiples of only 4? Thanks for you help. Sonia
I was trying to ad stiches on the sides to make a blanket but i was confused on where to start knitting the three, hard to explain. I'll just have to look for a different video. Thank you, the instructions are clear but I couldn't see the stiches on the needle , in order to see which stiches you were picking up.
A pretty stitck and a lovely woman explaining in a clear and easy way all stitches! Thank you Joannes!

+Natalie Ford - So, as long as you have the yarn go over (around) the right needle as to make another stitch, you're good.
+Natalie Ford or a wrap, not a regular yarn over.
Just follow what Joanne is doing or do your own style. Whatever works for you.
Thankyou. You explain so well.
Maşallah Tebrikler çok güzel olmuş 👌👏 kutluyorum harikasın

+rebeccascookies It does look different. The stitches "fall" differently.

Está sra me encanta como teje y enseña
+Lupita Soto Muchas gracias, Lupita. Saludos.
Another beautiful pattern like your three stitch but alternating with the k1. I love your accent, what is your native country?
I was born in Philadelphia. Lived and other Countries so I also speak Spanish and French also. Together they give a funny accent. lol
hi, thank you for the Star Lace Stitch, it is beautiful.
Q: after cast-on when i start Row #1 am i K3 into the cast on stitches? or should i knit one entire row first? thanks
Row 1 is immediately after the cast on stitches.
Very nice thanks
Hello Joanne, I'm in love with this Star Lace pattern but can't seem to make it work in the round. Do the stitches remain 4+1 when I cast on or do I have to cast on multiples of only 4? Thanks for you help. Sonia
thanks
I am learning a lot
I was trying to ad stiches on the sides to make a blanket but i was confused on where to start knitting the three, hard to explain.
I'll just have to look for a different video. Thank you, the instructions are clear but I couldn't see the stiches on the needle , in order to see which stiches you were picking up.
you can put some stitch markers at the start and at the end, so you know what stitches are from the pattern and what stitches are on the edges
