    A side note: You're makiing me miss my granny very vey much. She used to knit, cochet and sew and taught me, but I haven't knitted in a while and this makes me feel like she's here teaching me again. Thank you

      lol. How sweet! If you want to make a shawl, make a swatch and know how wide you want it. Do the numbers. Here is how: ruclips.net/video/77OZDoWPlok/видео.html.
      Then knit until the length you want. You can do it!

    I love coming on here and watching the videos. I feel like I'm sitting next to my mother learning from a very patient, sweet, gentle soul. I also like the fact that I don't have to listen to any bad language. I like the gentleness of the person doing the video too, you make a good team. Thank you for it all.

      lol, I was born in Philadelphia but I have lived in other countries. I also speak Spanish and French since I was very little. So I guess my tongue got adjusted funny. Thanks for the cheers!

    Love this stitch. Thanks so so much for this tutorial. I was a crochet addict, but I recently cannot do it anymore because it causes my hand to hurt. So now I'm knitting and man, it's hard. Your tutorial helped me a lot and gave me a lot more joy in knitting

    Very nice pattern. I tried it on circular needles and it works out great because you can knit down on the thin part of the needle to make it easier to get all three stitches on.

    Thank you for the idea. I knit hats for preemies and kids with cancer. Will try using this pattern when making the hats.

      I believe this stitch is a bit too open for hats. You might want a tighter one.

    Wow Joanne I tried the three stitch lace on a blanket I was making. It had three different squares to the pattern One a butterfly and the other was a flower and the three stitch lace was just right as an infill block. Thank you Best wishes Babs

    This looks beautiful and the instructions are clear. The thing I miss on so many of these tutorials is that I want to see a full view of the scarf at the end and definitely one with it on a person. I think most would like to see the item worn. Just a suggestion.

      Yes! Make sure you knit a border or 3 or 4 stitches/rows of garter or seed stitch around it so it looks finished and doesn't curl.

    Lovely stitch. Thank you for showing the stitch in a slower fashion so we can follow. It's also nice to see an accomplished knitter featuring a stitch demonstration with the needles held the way yours are - so hard to follow European knitting tutorials (with the needles pointing downward). Thank you for a great tutorial :)

    Think I will learn this stitch with my grams, she will enjoy watching the video. She came from a time where if you were left handed they made you right handed, so she has a really hard time with reading patterns and transferring them.
