Hello from England! Dear Kelli, I really appreciate and enjoy your channel. I am a grandma and have been married since 1992… it’s so lovely and comforting to watch you and other young Christian keepers of their homes. It’s good to see your generation carrying on Christian values and faith. Have a blessed autumn ❤️✝️🙏
My husband and I have a 75 x 90 garden. We are in our 70s. We grew over a ton of produce this year from this. Of course, we spent a little money, but we certainly came out ahead!
Another nice thought provoking video Kelli. The garden is a special place for me and a place that the Lord reminded this year, that He has provided everything I need to have a productive space. The miracle of placing a tiny seed into dirt and with some water and sunshine it grows something edible and or beautiful fills my heart to overflowing. It doesn’t mean the garden was without troubles or heartbreak, but it did serve as a reminder of God’s provision and unfailing love. I’m an immediate results type personality so a lot of training to wait had to take place. Same is true with deciding to be a homemaker especially if one is coming home from working outside the home. I love your gentle encouragement to be patient and to trust the Lord to direct one’s path. You are a blessing!
I really appreciate this video because I have thought to myself that I feel the same way about growing our food- it makes feel a closeness to God and a reminder of all of the Blessing he’s given us on this earth! All the harvest that starts with a little seed-amazing and only something that God can provide! Thank you for your wonderful videos, I love to listen to them while I cook.
A priceless aspect of gardening is knowing you can feed and care for your family with food and herbs you’ve grown despite inflation, wars, supply chain disruptions… You are an inspiration, Kelli ❤
I also grow my own veg and salads and, like you Kellie, am always amazed that a tiny seed does it;s thing and produces something incredible. Even thinking about how plants produce different smells and flavours is for me mind blowing.
Hi, Kelly! I found your channel yesterday and it is a blessing to find christian homemakers channels! Iknow there are many (thank God for that), but most are of homemakers with children and although I learn a lot from them, I was looking for christian homemakers that like me, have no children (either because they can't or because of other reasons). Because a house with children has a very different routine, I feel I can relate and learn more with homemakers that live a life more similar to mine (although we live in an apartment in the city).☺ My husband and I are from Portugal and here we are experiencing a cold, rainy Fall, but I love it, especially these amazing colors that God uses to paint this season with!🍂🍁🌻 Have a blessed week! 🙏
My husband & I had our 1st garden this year since we moved here 2.5 years ago and so enjoyed it. Loved how we can take the seeds from plants this year for next years yield & are super excited to add so much more to the garden next year.
Thank you, Kelli. I always appreciate your videos and come away encouraged and refreshed. I am thankful for your knowledge and how you research and seek to know more and share that with us. May God Bless you and your husband for speaking Truth and living it.
I love the idea of living Seasonally. I just need to work out how to do it as a full-time teacher living in a suburban apartment in Copenhagen, Denmark 🤔🌿
