Nice video. I have been looking at the Apex Tools. They seem much better value than some on the market. Someone tried to teach me how to make my own with silver foil and double sided sticky tabs but I just couldn't get it right everytime no matter how much I practiced..
Yeah, that silver foil is crap. I toyed with it, but it doesn't work well. If you want to DIY it there's other materials that are better. However, for the price, you can't go wrong with Apex tools.
@@DatamedicsRecovery To be fair I'm pretty useless with these tools as well. I just don't have the skill for it.. Probably tried about 50 disks without success now. (Damaged ones, ones with data on..). There should be some sort of award for worst head assembly remover. I'd bee a shoe-in..
I AM NOT in data recovery , but I studied HDDs in my education. All those year i really didn't knew this is possible. Grt. Skill.
