    In this first part we'll discuss important setup information about how to set up for cloning a hard disk drive that has bad sectors. We'll also discuss how to set up a Linux Live USB drive for the imaging / cloning process.

    When you talk about the SATA to USB here 4:03, which drive are you referring to? The source drive or the drive the info will be cloned to? I have a direct SATA connection from my source drive to the motherboard in my laptop, but I have no way to directly SATA connect the destination drive to the motherboard, all I have is a SATA to USB. If this is a problem, what do you recommend I do?

      It's not important how the destination is connected. The source being SATA connected is what's important.
