Great video, learning some stuff
Thanks, how is the weather down there? Any issues from wind at your place?
@@VinylVillageGarage it has been windy for sure, typical spring down here, great weather then rain then tornado watches then back to great weather, too much rain lately, the heat and humidity is about to start though haha, but I love it here, had some bad tornadoes come through north west a couple weeks ago, Rolling Fork Ms was all but destroyed, Tupelo and other places were damaged
I heard there was some bad stuff close to you just wasn’t sure how close. Glad to here it wasn’t bad for you.
Great video Jon 💪😎
Thanks it was your idea.
good body work tips Jon. Thanks.
Thank you! Trying to easy the pains and confusion of body work.
I love my quick-jacks
Me too
Great video brother I'll be honest with you. I don't use Guide coat I use my hands to see. Everything you know what I mean When you shoot your primary a couple of colts and start sending it You. Start feeling the highs and lows. It takes some years of experience but it works.
I don’t normally use it either. Just if you haven’t got the feel for it it yet this is a way to train your hands and eyes to get the car straight
Lookin gooder Jon.
Thanks for the tips and tricks on guide coating.
Happy Easter everyone!
Happy Easter indeed
Good tips!
Thanks. Had to fight and figure a lot of this out the hard way. RUclips didn’t exist then
Excellent tips again Jon. We are going to practice these techniques on the extra panels we have before actually doing it on the car. All this body work is a little intimidating, but you break it down to where we’ll give it a go. We are hoping to make Firebirdfest on Saturday.👍
Very welcome. From what I have seen of your project i am confident you will have a nice car when done. You definitely have a knack for this car building stuff.
Gd stuff boss. Great one.
Much appreciated! Thanks
You appear to be very efficient with body work John! 👍🏽
I get by, learned a lot of it the hard way. Now I can get good results fairly quickly even on darker color paints too. Hopefully This stuff helps or might be entertaining for people
I hope pencil marks don’t bleed!!! Good advice on not using markers or paint pens
I believe pencil would be ok, I don’t see how it could react, might have to do some experimenting 😁
If you buy actual "Guide Coat" it won't clog your paper.
Good point
