They had no business leaving their children that far away from them. Dinner with friends is NOT THAT IMPORTANT!
The dinner was their cover story.
They thought so and it wasn’t the first time! They actually disgust me even if they had nothing to do with her disappearance.
I couldnt eat w/out having kids in eyeshot @ public place & even home.
I did not feel the parents showed any remorse for that decision.
The crazy thing too is most of the other couples left their kids alone too! But they don’t feel guilty about leaving her (or their twins) because she wasn’t abducted.
I have the greatest admiration for Inspector Conzalez Amaral. He did everything correct. But they tried to ruin his lifel . I believe he is a super intelligent Inspector.
His name is Concalvo, not Gonzalez, although it does sound like the way you spelled it. I can't find his book in English.
Their 100% guilty they 100% know what happened makes my blood boil!
The fact that those parents have pointed at everyone but themselves, speaks volumes.
Seems they have no conscious, they hide Maddie, beg and use money as they choose and try to put an innocent man in prison. They are such nice people down deep. Oh that’s leakage, they are on the way to hell.
How can the parents been out jogging the next day. Also I read they were at Clement Freuds house around the corner, and he is a 'suspected' paedofile? They didn't go searching for her, they left the flat again and left the twins there alone? A parent who's young child has disappeared would be in shock.

Their guilt is so obvious...karma will catch them sooner or later. The thing that puzzles here is how these high class academics, supposedly intelligent people could come up with a such a bad cover up. Their fabricated story changed several times and is full of discrepancies. Not only mccanns but the tapas 7 as well. In the interviews they do all the possible textbook mistakes, not sophisticated liars at all still some people truly believe in their innocense

I agree - am I the only one who noticed these guilty people head straight for the media? Yap yap yap to whoever will listen. Another talk show ... here we come! Give us more and more money! We need it to support our extravagant lifestyle! Why aren't you out here helping us find Maddie? And what about getting highly respected lie detector professionals in and plastering the results on media big-time. That should put a stop to them. But maybe not - we could be dealing with a couple of psychopaths or sociopaths - whatever .... as long as they think they can keep bamboozling everyone.

Everything...EVERYTHING about this case is wrong. From leaving three very young kids on a nightly basis to go out wining and dining, to the mother coming back saying "They've" taken Maddie, to all the friends clodhopping around the crime scene and destroying potential evidence, to the pair of them jogging on the beech and playing tennis instead of joining in with the search, etc etc etc. It all stinks...every bit of it.
If she was in the sea by then, perhaps the beach jog was as close as she would get to a memorial service.

Somewhere along the way one would think as a mother she would want to be physically close t the last known location of Madeline to feel a connection with and greive the loss of her daughter. This couple should very rightfully still be under 24 hour electronic surveillance because it's 100% certain they have spoken aloud their regrets, sadness and anger over their action to either themselves or each other at some point over the past 17 years.

I feel very sorry for the detectives who got snared up with Kate and Gerry McCann.
To be honest if the detectives don’t have enough evidence to charge them, they shouldn’t go round telling everyone they did it. They have to be able to prove it, no matter how much they might believe it to be true.
As far as I’m concerned this detective just wanted to make money writing a sensational book full of his own unproven theories.
I’m not trying to say they are innocent or guilty, the truth is that no one knows for sure.
You know Amaral well then? A totally corrupt and vicious individual who along with his thug colleagues left more than one suspect with serious injuries. Not exactly covered in glory when investigating missing Portuguese children either. Do some research.
@@ruthx3346 The case is archived because none of the tapas crew, include Gerry and Kate McCann, would return to Portugal to do a reconstruction of what they claim were their movements that night. They could have the case reopened any time they want.

That’s because they were drugged with sleeping pills of some kind they gave their children all the time Madeleine woke up this time and in a daze climbed up on the couch fell hit her head on window cill and died when they found her they made up a kidnapping because they would have been charged for dropping the children
not really, they were most likely sedated in some way - but also the family were at the beach during the day and they were all playing etc. so the kids would have been proper KO'd.
Though the cops did note it was strange that the parents kept checking the breath of the children

I’ve always felt that Amaral’s theory was correct, despite Netflix’s best efforts to discredit him. I honestly think that they key to this case lies from the day before. Looking forward to your other videos in the series

What is the title of the book, you read would really like to read it. I have never believed the parents version of events. They overdosed her accidentally, she got up, unsteady from drug they gave her, she fell over banged her head, and died. Hence the reason dogs sniffed her blood behind sofa.

That is what I think Casey Anthony did, then created all the scenes with duct tape in the mouth to covered up. I can’t imagine leaving my kids alone to go five minutes anywhere.

I would NEVER leave children, let alone toddlers alone in a house. To do it IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY defies belief and regardless of whether they're involved they should have been arrested for parental neglect. I would NEVER put my social life before the safety and parental responsibilities of being a parent.
Frustrating for us, so imagine what it was like for this poor Portuguese investigator. He brought out his findings, accepted in Portugal but blocked by U.K. So he wrote a book with the facts he found, to be sued, & lost his life savings defending the truth he knew about what happened to poor little Maddie.
They could have hired a nanny to keep an eye on the children. But leave them alone and drugged, that should never happen in a child's life!!!!!!!!

It was very strange that from the outset the parents claimed that she had been abducted. This is indicative of them suggesting the narrative they want. Surely the first natural assumption would be that Madeline may have woken and wandered off, and you would frantically search the immediate area. They did not do that.

If Maddie's bed did not appear to have been slept in and there was no trace of her DNA in it, perhaps something happened in the bed that the mother covered up by changing the bed. The dogs alerted to some blood as well...
I think they gave her the right dose to sedate her, but people don't always stay asleep even with a sedative (people wake during the night etc even with proper sleeping medication). I think she woke up with poor co-ordination, fell or whatever, and this caused the injuries. It was covered up by the parents, because not only have they now lost a child, but their lives would be over if this got out.

Like the Ramsay case I believe some type of abuse/neglect was going on and little Maddie was accidentally killed . These type of wealthy/elite parents have the means and the motivation to take their secrets to the grave whilst deluding themselves they are not really responsible. This is the only channel I’ve seen actually showing how eerily similar these two cases are! Definitely the best analysis of both cases!

It only crossed my mind after i saw a doc, where home videos were shown, i can't explain, but the interaction between gerry and Maddie didn't feel like he was connected, it felt like she was a showpiece, a prized horse.
That group of friends used to go on "vacation" together, mainly to Thailand...they go to diner and take turns to go "watch" the kids, what happened exactly, i can only speculate, but i wish the absolute worse for those two sacks of...and to all the rest that are protecting them.

Shutters are very common throughout Southern Europe because of the heat. Once they are closed (which you would do in the summer instead of closing the windows), it's very hard to tamper with them. I won't say impossible, but I can't imagine a burglar/kidnapper wasting time fiddling with them.

They originally said the patio doors were locked but changed it because the could only be locked from the inside, which would mean they had to leave and re-enter tge apartment through the front door. This did not fit the “story” of the rota system of checking the kids, so the were forced to admit the patio doors were left open.
I believe Maddie was in that missing bag of Gerry's and the bag was under a bush outside for a moment before being transported. I also believe she was in that same bag in the wardrobe prior. The dog alerted to both sites. I believe she died a night or two before and they had help transferring that bag with Maddie. That's why the mum said they'd taken her. I reckon the Freud guy helped.
And remember there was also the small fridge....The McCanns replaced it!

I think the most telling thing is that she was crying for hours the night before when her parents were out. So on this night it’s possible Maddie was either drugged to stop her crying, she tried to find her parents and fell(possibly into the flower bed as you suggest), or there was some kind of argument/scene before her parents went out again as she didn’t want them to go. Kate left the twins because she knew there was no abduction threat, she knew the twins were sedated to stop them from being upset over Madeleine's accident, they possibly witnessed it. She, her husband and all the rest have conspired to keep silent and between raising the alarm, calling the police, they all played a part in 'the abduction playacting'. It would be interesting to talk to the twins now and see what and if they remember anything, what triggers a reaction and how their parents and friends react to this latest 'probe'. 😢

That is a very valid point, 'she could have opened the door and left'. Fallen off the balcony, then died and the parent's hid her body then? Or, as some doctors in Portugal thought likely, Maddie was sedated by the parents and died as a result. There is no evidence of anything out of the ordinary happening in the apartment.
I think MM, died a day, possibly two days prior to the day that it all officially began! The only evidence points to her dying and there is no evidence of an intruder! The people involved in pushing a narrative is not normal and how the uk authorities took over the case is wrong making portugese police out to be inept and unable to handle this case! The question is why the involvement from people in uk high profile positions and why cover up this case if only accidental death! Yes parents would be seen to be neglectful and they have to live with that! The cover up is the real question as to why!

Even in hindsight, to this day, they stick to the narrative that it was safe to leave three children alone in an unlocked apartment. And yet, without searching, Kate immediately started shouting “they’ve taken her…!”

I was astonished to learn that a world renowned u.s. dna scientist offered to retest the dna samples taken from the hire car boot which were deemed inadmissable. The testing was relatively primitive in 2007 and he says has improved dramatically and would prove definitively whether it was maddies dna. Scotland yard ignored him. This stinks to high heaven and i think there should be a campaign to force the uk police to retest.
The police in the UK are just as corrupt and evil as the police in America.

20 yrs ago i took my grandaughter age 6 and my daughter on holiday, my daughter and i would most nights taking grandaughter with us taking a pushchair in case she got sleepy but one night we decided to have a meal and bottle wine were our appartment was, we could see our door to our appartment however was a retired english lady who lived in the complex she did babysitting to earn money she was lovely brought paints colour books ect so we could relax and my grandaughter safe even though we were 2 min from the door???
She washed maddies favourite toy, her cuddle cat. Washed it. Washed maddies scent off it ....let that sink in. Not a mother in the world would do that unless hiding something
An accident makes the most sense, and I wonder if Madeleine woke up and accidently fell out the window somehow or she was given too much sedative.

@@ruthx3346”Dr Amaral” didn’t say it. There would be forensic evidence if that scenario on the street. The only forensic evidence of blood and cadaver is inside the apartment and in the car they hired weeks later.
There was blood behind the couch. So she probably climbed onto the couch to look out the window, fell behind the couch onto the tiled floor and broke her neck and died.

It didn't, and she woke up in that state and likely fell with fatal results. They covered it up out of panic or in a calculated manner, since their lives would be over if caught. Who knows, they might have even justified it if they're "those" kinds of doctors, thinking they could commit more good by medically treating people if they kept their freedom. They really showed their selfishness by sedating and leaving her though - they should well know that people don't always remain asleep when sedated. The body's natural urges may wake them for the bathroom etc even when people take proper sedatives. With the fact that people even occasionally awaken with general anesthesia, it was stupid to think off-label use of cough medicine would keep the kid down for the entire night.
We don’t know what the medication was if any. The mother was an anaesthetist and would know which drugs to use, may have even had some she shouldn’t have and been giving without the proper prescribing. Very bad if she were found out.

Not once did I see any real emotions or a single tear nothing seems as it was the parents always attacked anyone who suggested some other way that might have happened but at the end of the day the bottom line is that the left the doors open leaving babys alone they never spent any time with there children at all . Where they were sitting you couldn't see the apartment at all it was out of sight. Who leaves there children for hours at a time because i don't believe for one minute that they all took turns going to check on the children and did they all check on the other children.they shouldn't have left there children they could of had a babysitter but they said they said they didn't want one . Why wouldn't you want a babysitter to make sure your children are safe .there was to many things that didn't make sense and for the police to make a cover up from the British police is disgusting for what reason did the police go there for because they didn't change anything and what about all the other children that had gone missing why didn't they put as much help in finding them and put as much money in to finding them but none of that was ever done for the other children or looked for them as long its disgusting

I've been following this case from the start,have a look at the signing in documents for the creche the 3 children were attending during the day,mistakes were made.I've said from the start this is a cover up,they both had so much to lose if they admitted their guilt,one of the staff in the creche holidayed with the McCanns after they returned home.I'm back looking at this case again,more interested than ever.

Am I correct in thinking that there was a coffin in the church (near the sea ) when the child disappeared? In the Catholic faith, coffins are often left overnight before the funeral Mass the following day. That would be a perfect place to hide a child's body.
And a comment made elswhere by a Portugese lady with a similar idea to yours said that the coffin was that of an English person waiting to be sent home. Also I remember that the priest gave them a key so they could go anytime to pray for Maddie's safe return. Also as medics they probably were aware of the old practice of putting stillborn babies into the foot of a strangers coffin to ensure the child went into hallowed ground.

The weather discrepancies prove their claims are false. Kate claimed when she went into the appartment a gust of wind blew the curtains apart, well the weather on that night was cool but calm there wasn't much wind, certainly not enough for a "gust". Then the alleged last photo of Madeline with Gerry at the pool well on the day & time he claimed it was taken it wasn't warm & sunny however it was in the days previous to it. Why would he lie unless he wanted to deceive that she was still alive and well on that particular day.
You think she died outside under the balcony? That’s ridiculous. How could you write five books on it and come to that conclusion? They drugged her to help her sleep and she died in the apartment just like the detective said.
