    i got rid of my diabetes 2 with keto. my highest fasting blood sugar level was 186 - as far as i know - i did not measure that much.
    however, my sedentary lifestyle let a bit of insulin resistance and weight come back. that means, i have to do a 30 min walk in the morning to let the blood sugar level drop. 95 is too high for me to lose weight. insulin needs to go down which then makes glucagon go up and with hormone sensitive lipase the body fat get mobilized to get burned off. i think walking and releasing stress should be the missing factor in my equation.

    I had my yearly physical recently, and my doctor told me I was pre-diabetic? what he didn't know is that a few weeks earlier I had way too many Halloween candies! which goes to show you doctors know nothing, nor the lab tests should be an indication of a definite diagnosis. The doctor's visit was a wake up for me. So I stopped cold the consumption of refined carbs, sugar cane based foods, and even regular honey. I had also being walking 3 to 5 miles a day at least 4 times a week; and my blood sugar had dropped to below 93! I also like to add that blood morning sugar levels below 105 is still consider normal; not a sign of prediabetes!! diabetes as a whole is easily manageable, and can even be reversed!! all you have to do is be physically active. Walking in my personal opinion is the best treatment/medication for pre-diabetics or diabetics!!

    Catch me @4am out walking circles around my town lol I’m gunna buy a bike so I could drop my sugars twice as fast in 1/2 the time(hopefully)& build my leg muscles back up! I need to gain this weight back so I have to eat more! 100😆 my diabetic life is cuckoo, it almost seems unobtainable hearing you guys speak about these numbers🤔100 & I’m in panic mode wishing my 1/2 working Dexcom alert would let me set that “Low” # higher then 100.. Bc if I’m at 100, shit is about to hit the fan & I HAVE to eat glucose not regular food! wtf… (yes @4am it is very peaceful, the quiet environment & darkness is serene! Reminds me of Wandering Witcher 3 & listening to the woods/environments!) One day..

    • @FTFWARRIOR
      @FTFWARRIOR  2 года назад +1

      @@niazijr From my experience, no (I've got a little one on the way, hooray!) though quite honestly, I don't know how that may vary across the world of diabetes. I will say though that we're usually better off with better controlled blood sugars!

      @@FTFWARRIOR Thanks alot man.
      Another question, sometimes on family dinners or parties you cant walk after meals and you've to sit for hours after eating. So how can we control blood sugar spike after meals in that case (for prediabetes).

      Hi Leslie, I apologize for the late response, Do you take insulin or any oral medications? You'd have to ask your doctor, but the amount of medication may need to be adjusted. Hard to say without having an actual conversation with you, but I hope this helps!

    How long do I need to walk to lower glucose? I’ve gained about 10 lbs in the last 8 months and it’s on my belly so maybe cortisol issue? I don’t know my blood sugar levels but I’m sure I could benefit from a short walk after I eat.
