Actors are the people who when they were kids took playtime super seriously. The good ones are basically going all in on a game of pretend. How Serkis and the rest could act so well with those goofy mocap suits on is beyond me
The actors are SO GOOD to be able to wear the gray outfits with the ping pong balls and still give such a great performance! We just watched "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes," again and loved it all over again! We're in awe! Kudos! 💕✨️💖🏆🎉🥳💖💖💖
Andy Serkis deserves the 1st Oscar in a new category of motion capture acting, or a Lifetime. Achievement. He gave us Gollum, he gave his Caesar. He's iconic now.
How nobody talk about the good vfx of this movie.... They made it so real that we simply think thy copy a chimp or videoshoot a chimp see their vfx made... This is so cool and great vfx than avatar movie
1:28 this is a deleted scene. the higher ups felt the movie was too long so they cut it. but it wouldve been nice to see them introduce themselves to each other for the depper connection, its not even a long scene idk why they would cut it.
@@precious1770 These dots are used to track the actors' faces, thus creating facial expressions on the apes' faces. And that long stick is a camera that sits in front of the actor's face to record facial expressions.
This stuff damage the ilucion,the fantasi of a movie nobody care behind the scenes stuff.i bet this is one of the kind of stuff why people don't watch or go tho the therhers like 10 years ago.this is not healty for movie productions
Andy Serkis absolutely nailed this role, but honestly ALL these performers were perfectly cast, from Maurice to Rocket and especially Koba!!
Right? So well done. And I will never get over Toby Kebbell’s performance of Koba. What brilliant talent this cast was.
