Haven’t played it in forever and I loaned the disk to my little cousin to play. He started asking me questions as he progressed and my memory was foggy. I’m now like 40+ hours into GOW/Norse mythology vids on RUclips this month 😂. Truly is a masterpiece with so much depth to every decision made in its creation. Can’t wait for Ragnarok to finally drop and we find out who blew the horn. (Kratos & Atreus from the future 🤔)

I've been gamer all my life and played plenty and have different set of expectation(apparently higher than yours), and would view them differently than you. But that does not make me any more incorrect because it is MY subjectively opinion that I am entitled to have, same as you entitled to have opinion that it is the best game ever or w/e. Items were boring as fuck. Inventory UI is god-fucking awful. And exploration was dogshit. It's not really exploration like open world. You're just running set track. Ya it was cool that the map would change as you progress the game, but the going through climbing and ledge walking were boring as fuck, especially when Kratos is literally a foot off the ground, but you still have to "climb" down to get to the ground. What a joke? He supposed to be a god, give me option to jump off few feet. But other times you can jump off like 20 feet. Inconsistent. To think exploration was good, you must really like watching same animation of opening chest, kill moves, opening door, item pick up repeating again and again. I am not as easily entertained. And new game+ is stupid too. I am not re-playing to watch all the unskippable cutscenes. **Yawn**

I cannot get over how much I love their performances. The best acting of the year in ANY medium: film, television, stage, video games is when Christopher Judge and Sunny Suljic get together. I've NEVER seen a more intricate, emotional father and son relationship portrayal. Their performances are breathtaking, a joy to experience. I have nothing but love for them both.
I can't gush enough about Chris and Sunny but need some noise for the cameraman and director too! The shots and angles from the game were part of what made it such an engaging and breathtaking experience!

I appreciate the mocap actors as they put incredible efforts to get the data. Hope I can work in such amazing project again when I get a chance🤞
i finally played and finished the game after PC release.. i then googled the actors because i liked the voice acting so much, i expected to find a ton of things about the boy but he seems to be kinda overlooked... He fucking killed it, he was incredibly convincing!
Both of the latest God of War games were such tear jerkers. I could really tell how much the creators put into the story and the art. They were beautifully made and I bawled like a baby. ❤

Sadly many things were cut or re written due to Sony cracking the whip on budget and release date for the game, so much so that the blades of chaos part almost didn’t make it into the game

I thought id seen all the footage for this game, but ive not seen a lot of this. I love this, truly incredible. I would love it if for ragnarok they release all of the filming process and bloopers. I have the full collection of official sony products for this game. So im always happy when i find something new.
As someone who just started playing this game and loved GOW1-3 I have been SO incredibly impressed so far by a bunch of things but the acting, mocap, and voice acting might be at the top of the list. Everything is acted so believably well. The guy that does Kratos now and Atreus have done a historical job as far as I can tell. GOW4 might be the best GOW game so far.
Gaming is a whole new level nowadays. Back then it’s just pixels and coding for cutscenes with some voice acting, now it’s straight up filming a movie for 70% between story writing, capturing actors and stunt actors for cutscenes and to capture the gameplay for fighting, driving and other stuff.
I think the roles in the new and old games are perfect. In the old games, Kratos is filled with rage. Carson did it perfectly. His voice sounded like he was always angry and full if rage. In the newer god of war games, Kratos is old and wise. He is calm. Christopher does it perfectly.
I think they will use the part where kratos says his a monster part in the beginning of the video when atreus learns all about what kratos did to greece

Gow4 and ragnarok has a unique style to it. It’s a game that transitions into a movie. Even with the different attacks the camera sometimes shifts around to make it look like it’s a shot from a movie. I love that so much. It makes the cinematics feel so much more connected to the game world.

It was Christopher Judge's chemistry test with Sunny Suljic as Sunny was cast first and according to Christopher, Sunny had a big say in who is gonna play Kratos because they wanted the chemistry to really feel like Father and Son.
I know I'm late playing this game but i have to say I'm impressed besides my favorite video game of all-time the last of us i have to say no other game has pulled at my heartstrings like god of war has the storyline is incredible it just put me on a emotional rollercoaster. I said it before and I'll say it video game voice actors deserve oscar awards and like troy baker and ashley johnson for their roles of joel and ellie deserves oscar awards christopher judge and sunny suljic also deserve oscars for their roles as kratos and atreus. All 4 are the perfect pairs. 💯

I know I'm late playing this game but i have to say I'm impressed besides my favorite video game of all-time the last of us i have to say no other game has pulled at my heartstrings like god of war has the storyline is incredible it just put me on a emotional rollercoaster. I said it before and I'll say it video game voice actors deserve oscar awards and like troy baker and ashley johnson for their roles of joel and ellie deserves oscar awards christopher judge and sunny suljic also deserve oscars for their roles as kratos and atreus. All 4 are the perfect pairs. 💯

the game is absolutly perfect, im so glad that they made those changes they mentioned in development! i have literally no bad things to say about this game and im sure that real og fans since 2005 feel the same way! i just hope we get shirtless kratos again in ragnarok that would be dope🔥🔥
For this performance you need a damn high amount of concentration to feel and live the character. Just incredible.

This kid is an amazing actor, he killed it in Mid 90s as well. Voice kinda reminds me of the original boy who played Aang in Avatar: The Last Airbender.
