The art of Alex Ross is what got me into comics. So I have to go with Absolute Kingdom Come as my favorite.

Batman Year One is by far my favorite Absolute. I'm a huge Batman fan, it's prob my favorite Batman story, and this Absolute is the first one I ever bought. I also love that they included both the original version as well as an updated one.

I have all of the sandman, kingdom come, the dark knight returns, the long Halloween,and watchmen. I always meant to get more as these are my favorite format.
My favorite so far is Swamp Thing by Alan Moore. I need that absolute planetary ❤ hopefully i can get it this year
Alan Moore's Swamp Thing was one of my first comics read so the absolute editions of that run is my all time favorite

Great rundown, guys! The Absolutes I own are as follows:
Alan Moore Swamp Thing (all 3 volumes), Batman Year One, and of course Kingdom Come, New Frontier and Watchmen. I completely agree with your take on the Miller Dark Knight inclusion of DKSA, which is why I opted to get the Deluxe slipcase 4 volume edition of DKR rather than the Absolute, even though it's in the smaller page size.
As a comic collector with a monthly budget, I drew the line on Omnis. So, unfortunately, I don't have any Absolute. But I would love the Absolute Watchmen on my library!

Been buying these absolutes since the early 2010's and ever since I started; Ive always wanted Alan Moore's Swampy run to be collected in the format. I got my wish so that would be my favorite haha.

My favorite absolute has to be Crisis on Infinite Earths, but I also really love the cover treatment of Superman For All Seasons. Loved this video! Seeing every absolute released was super helpful.

I’m new to Absolute collecting but so far my favourite is Batman Year One. Not only is the story a classic but the extras are amazing. Containing the original colours and an updated colours version, the script and so much more. Thanks boys for all the absolute info but my wallet hates you both. 😅
My favorite Absolute, and the first one I bought, is Kingdom Come. Awesome story, amazing art.
The Absolute Preacher volumes are my absolute favorite, but I'm prejudiced because it's also one of my favorite comics of all time too. The Alan Moore Swamp Thing is good too. And any oversized Alex Ross art is a must in Absolutel format.

My fav absolute would be my first absolute. All Star Superman. Fell in love with the character even more and elevated my love for the medium to start my own collection. I definitely want to reread it again now with a different, more established set of eyes for Superman and Morrison.

The killing joke is my favorite because it was my first absolute edition.
My Fave is Absolute Kingdom Come, Alex Ross his art NEEDS this format. It is too good. Combine that with Mark Waids story and you have yourself a DC comics collected edition for the ages

I’d say that my favorite currently rn is Absolute Swamp Thing Vol. 1, just absolutely incredible way to read the story.
I really love Superman: For Tomorrow. It was my first Absolute Edition. I've noticed that many people aren't too keen on it but I really like it, the story and the beautiful art and have read it many times. I also really love my Absolute WildCATS which quite a few people don't seem to like lol. One of my prized possessions. I loved the cartoon, growing up so I have all the other stuff including WildCATS vs Aliens and the Zealot comics, as well as the new books.
My favorite absolute are the swamp thing by Alan Moore. Such great art in a huge format.
Nooooothing compares to Preacher Absolutes, i deeply love Sandman, but Preacher is a Love story for the Ages! ❤

Out of the ones that I currently have, the Absolute Fourth World volumes are my favorite.
Absolute Daytripper is my favorite…that I own lol since I don’t own a lot. They are too expensive for me so I just stick with omnis unless I really really love it.😅
Hey guys, I love this video and thank you for it. I didn't know there were so many "Absolute Editions". I have some work to do. My favorite is "Kingdom Come". Wasn't there a "Midnight Nation" Absolute? I think DC acquired that company, I'm not sure. Keep up the good work.
I have been planning on dipping into absolutes so this was an amazing video to watch. My top four absolutes that I want are Kingdom come, preacher, hush, and justice League worlds greatest superheroes.
I gotta say for me... Now and always, Absolute Killijg Joke. Awesome presentation. Great extras. The way they give the new colors version on nice thick glossy paper and then the old version with og colors and old school paper stock. Just amazing.
Can't talk about the Wrightson swamp thing without talking about the art. Yes I prefer the Alan Moore stories but you buy the Wrightson book for the unsurpassable art
Absolute dark knight returns is my fav.
Also, there are absolutes that are published by other editorials. Like the Spanish Norma, the published Absolute Ex Machina

Honestly dont have a favorite absolute.. due to not owning any. I would love to own the JLA/Avengers though.

My Absolute Kingdom Come and Batman Year One….dude those things are the gemstones of my collection if I had to leave a burning house you bet your ass I have those two in my hands to restart the next collection god forbid haha
My favorite is my first absolute. Flashpoint. Bought it on a whim and never looked back.
So I am a little confused. There are more than 57 Absolute editions. I have 65 as of right now and I am missing a bunch haha. I believe there are 83 Absolutes out right now not including announced but not released. There may be more Absolutes if you count Absolute Planetary 1 and 2 but I have the new print which combines the previous 2 volumes. But either way there are well over 80 right now.

Justice is my fav the fact that you have the Justice league on the run because the villains were almost winning and taking over. Nuff said

Wild CATS, Gen 13, etc books at the early Image / WS days, were fragment story written a la Wolverine. Supreme, Deathblow, same thing.

Absolute Jack Kirby’s Fourth World volume 1 & 2 are my must haves!
My favorite is New Frontier. I've read it probably five times or more in that format.
Absolute Justice League: The World's Greatest Super Heroes, written by Paul Dini and Alex Ross, is hands down the best Absolute to have graced DC so far. Whilst it's history may have began back in 1998, the combined collected stories within were first published in 2005 and proved an instant hit with readers. It was not until 2017 and the Absolute format release, that readers could collect it in a larger arrangement befitting it's stories and magnificent art. It sets a high benchmark that in my opinion, all other Absolute releases being considered should be measured against.
