- Here's my video of Peter Criss singing Hard Luck Woman by KISS on stage with Ace Frehley at Creatures Fest in Nashville 2022. This was the first time Peter and Ace has played together in years. What a dream come true for me!
That's so awesome to see Peter and Ace together jamming out. And yes Peter and Ace are the best of Kiss
Would be nice if who ever recorded this got both Peter and Ace in the same shot. Looks like the guy on the left got it correctly.
Así es
why do Pete and Ace play for 50 people while Paul and Gene with Eric and Tommy for 50 000 people then?
Маэстро спасибо большое мы росли на вас спасибо большое за глаток свежего воздуха
I'm sorry but without these two kiss IS NOT KISS ANYMORE....you guys ROCK🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Well, now KISS is nothing but a bunch of 1s and 0's with no life, no soul now.
Kiss with Peter and Ace was a band
Kiss without Peter and Ace is a business
This is excellent! I especially enjoy seeing Peter and Ace rocking out together. These guys are my favorites with the original lineup. Although I grew up an 80's Kiss fan I never stopped searching for their 70's stuff. 😊
These two so called drug addicts and alcoholics were the real heart and soul and talent in the original lineup!!! God bless Peter Criss and Ace!!!
@@MichaelNorthrup-c1r yeah but they were too hopeless and drunk and drugged out to perform for a significant part of it. without Gene and Paul putting conditions on them their lazy asses would have accomplished nothing.
They say "Never meet your heroes" but from the stories ive heard, I'd love to meet Peter and Ace!
Peter sounds great, good on him. Love seeing him and Ace together having fun,
Muy genial excelente
Ace Frehley and Peter Criss the better half of Kiss
Yeah, the two guys that stopped giving a shit about the band as soon as they hit it big, the two that cared about booze and drugs more than the band......
Ace and Peter Kiss lost the heart and soul of the group when they left
@@michaelracicot233 i would of stopped giving a shit too if i had to listen to Pauls constant whining and Genes jealousy.......not too mention Paul hanging with child molester Bill Aucoin
@@frankbrown3218 Yes,Sir.
definitely the best days Kiss had with them.
Peter still has raspy soulful voice ! love it..
Ace & peter are the best of the best of KISS
Peter and Ace is what made Kiss great.
the BETTER HALF of Kiss right there...
It's great to see Peter and Ace together and having a good time. Been a Kiss fan since I bought the self titled Kiss album in 1974.
Agreed. Glad Ace remembered the song and these two were reunited for this.
I remember an article in Guitar World in the late 90s where Ace said that he "gravitated" towards Peter because Gene and Paul had their heads up their ass. In Rush's 30 year biography, there's a story about Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee, of Rush, a band Kiss played with a lot in the mid 70s, getting Ace something for his birthday, and Ace telling them that his own bandmates didn't even care enough to get him something.
Same here
I was very late 1978! Gruß aus München 👍😉🍺
Me too brother 😊
Peter Criss has a very powerful clean original distinctive voice. Peter "The OG Cat" Criss a founding member of the legendary rock band "KISS" is a great singer\drummer\performer no doubt about it!!!
I love Ace and Peter. They still sing the best. They both were the best part of Kiss.
I really aeree with lady palomino. Kiss without them are nothing......first love is difficult to forget......❤
I have to agree with you both.
@@federicopaoletti973please. We all love ace and peter. Listen to what you are saying
I disagree Gene still sounds better than both. But in his day Peter had the most distinctive voice. And my favorite of the 4 solo lps. That said Eric Carr crushed him as a drummer.
I hope you mean back in the 70's and 80's and part of the 90's, cause Ace of today is a trainwreck. He's horrible, an embarrassment. Love his body of work, but the man didn't just pass his prime, he warp factor 6'd right by it. Check out anything he's sung in the past 20 yrs. He makes 71 yr old Paul sound like the best singer alive.
My favorite KISS song.
Criss was my favorite member of the band, cat man behind his huge drum set.
Damn giving goosebumps
Peter was one of Kiss's best vocalists.
SURE....the last on the line....
Top 4 for sure
No rasp here
Yeah todays vocal abilities 1. Gene 2. Peter 3. Ace 4. Paul
Raspberries are Sold Out!@@michelelaraia7358
Been a KISS fan forever, and this song is one of their greats. Peter and Ace always held their own on lead vocals.
Fuck yeah PC.. you hero. Love you for staying true to yourself though the years. Huge insipiration
Ace and Peter are the ones that really made kiss what they are.
“If not for the first HELLO !!!”
😁👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
The heart and soul of KISS they were the reason people could identify with the band
❤
identify with alcoholism and drug addiction? yeah you maybe.
Criss is closing in on 80.
That's pure insanity 😮
Why?? If they perform, that’s what matters to me🤩.
He looks good
Time flies. That's my whole point.
You youngsters don't know what I mean. Soon you'll understand 💀
@@jonnyblade46. Time flies and? That doesn't mean Peter has to quit, tell that to the Stones.
@@metallion0738 I didn't say that.
I didn't say anything about quitting.
Those 2 should tour together.
They would be better than kiss.
Sadly they will sell pubs at the most unlike the other half who have got all the resources in the world.
@@jimjim7008 True but every night of the week though. It's nostalgic selling not remakes.
@@nickhill8612 in what world do you live?
I got to meet Peter in 1987 while working at Warehouse Records. Couldn't believe it! I was a lifelong fan. He was very polite and down to earth.❤️
I remember warehouse records. My god that is going back. They tried to compete against tower records, which in Las Vegas was huge.
The best of the Real Kiss, when they actually sang, not lip sync like Paul does today.
You are absolutely right.
Man this video is killer! Love Peter and Ace! For me I love all who ever have been in KISS past and present!
I think Gene and Paul treated Ace and Peter pretty poorly. They came nowhere near getting a quarter of the lead vocals each. Very much like The Beatles' vocal split.
No, peter and ace didn't want to sing too much because they thought they weren't that good and their addictions made them go crazy of fame and money
Oh my God! Randomly came across this!!! So cool!
Without Peter and Ace Kiss isn't really Kiss. Peter had the best voice it's sad they couldn't keep the original lineup together.
Paul Stanley wrote a killer Klassic with this one.
Peter did this amazingly on the album. This was a great video. I loved seeing him smile when the crowd screamed. Thanks for uploading this.
A great and beautiful Paul Stanley song.
What a 70’s these guys had! Awesome. Still sound great.
Two music legends.
I love Paul Stanley as a frontman and I love his voice. But Peter always had that raspy Rod Stewart-esque type vocals that gave Kiss a more classic rock dimension.
Seriously lol the tempo sounds like a wedding band I could picture dancing to this version 💃 😂
LOL😂 WOW YEAH GIVE THEM A TAMBORINE!!!!
They would rather play a song Paul Stanley wrote for 50-100 people than join the band for a show or two on the farewell tour. They always say they are "For the fans" but they are actually for the MONEY. both Gene and Paul have been on the last 2 albums that Ace put out, yet he claims no offer has been made and I gotta call bullshit. I think Gene is telling the truth when he says he asked Ace but was directed to a manager who wants insane amounts of money for each appearance. Sad actually. Peter sounds OK for this video but he is out of tune sometimes. If it was really for the fans, they should at least do the Madison Square Garden shows.
For being 77 year old man Peter can still belt it out pretty good.
He's not belting here bro...
It’s called growing old gracefully it’s what gene and Paul
Should do 😎
Love this it's definitely great to see these two on stage together
Outstanding to see these two together again on stage. Would love to see the original 4 do a couple more shows. Oh well . . . 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
In my humble opinion, the vocal skills of Peter Criss were horribly underutilized! A number of the few songs which feature Kriss’ vocals found their way onto the charts. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love this song so much more than Beth 🥰😂🤷♂️👍
I still love you I have loved you since 12yrs old. You were my favorite member of the band the only one I adored. I love you now Peter you're my kitty cat I love you😊
If I didn’t see the title, I would say this was the greatest live band karaoke version of this song I’ve ever seen
Love ya Pete, you'll ALWAYS be THE DRUMMER OF KISS TO ME. Thank you so much for the amazing memories 😊
Différence between those 2 guys and the 2 other ? I think if saw them in street and ask them for a photo and ckeck theyre hand, they will be ok. It really looks like they are Nice hearts 🖤
Love you Peter 🖤
I respect Peter for being vocal about that he isnt a hardrock fan. Regardless, he was the perfect fit at that time. He was bold enough to release a solo album that was so far away from Kiss as possible. Guts!
he and gene took the biggest swings on their albums. ace and paul basically just wrote kiss songs.
I really like Gene's solo album.
@@BloodySoup74 its the most eclectic of the four and in a weird way the most honest. its a window into the man and a guy and a musician in the span of a full LP you get Radioactive and When you Wish Upon a Star. its really an interesting piece
@@bloodlinefilmsI agree totally. And I love the simple piano in the song Living in Sin.
@@BloodySoup74
Radioactive was my favorite on Gene’s album.
I understand that Peter sang it and the song was on RARO, however, it’s a Paul Stanley song. I remember Peter saying to Ace when they did the Bad Boys of RR tour in 1993-4 why are we covering Kiss songs that Gene and Paul wrote?
Great to see them together, they were the fun and musical side of Kiss everyone loved and still loves.
gracias peter
Better than Gene and Paul
Give Pete a break. Heck, Keith Richards claims he never plays a guitar solo the same so what's wrong with switching out a word?
Ask Jim Morrison about switching a word. 😮
As they say, there's no law that says they have to play it EXACTLY like the record.
Peter and Ace ,the bad boys back together again. They were great together on tour during there bad boys show.I got to see that tour and it was awesome. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
How great to be there and see this.
Gotta say, Pete sounds better than Paul, Gene, or Ace at this stage of life. Pete also looks genuinely at peace.
Ace still sounds good.
My all time favorite KISS song.
I never understood how this didn't become a live staple, but Beth did.
I think Beth was a bigger hit (their BIGGEST hit?). But I also wonder if it wasn’t a strategic decision just to give themselves a break during the show. Even Peter got to come out from behind the drum set and just sit down and sing during Beth.
I was rollen tears 10 seconds in............
Peter actually has a unique voice like rod Stewart. Awesome
Ace was the best
Good to see Peter
wearing the Cross
Thanks for posting
Paul said he originally wrote it, to pitch to Rod Stewart. Peter still can sing this song and sound great.
Wow I didn't know that.
@@nickhill8612 I alway's wished Rod would sing it in a concert or something...that would be cool.
@@seerstone8982
Yes that would be very cool.
@@nickhill8612No, and "IF" anyone just stopped to think about how ridiculous Paul saying that was. Think about it, Peter had given Kiss a HUGE shot in the arm with Beth. It received airplay and was the song even non Kiss fans knew back in '76. It won a People's Choice Award . Soooo Paul SHOULD have written it for Peter and proudly told the world he did so!! That would have made a LOT more sense!!!!!
@@rickr2029
Hey I have to agree with you.
You are absolutely right on everything you said.
Paul wrote this for Rod Stewart and Peter said screw that and made a huge hit from it.
hard luck women in all your hearts
Paul and Gene are all about money and inflated egos, these guys rock, still.
Paul wrote this song with the intent of giving it to Rod Stewart, who probably would have had a hit with it, perfectly mimicking his style, which just goes to show what a great crafter of songs Paul is, but good thing they decided to keep it even though it wasn't heavy metal, like Rod, Pete has a scratchy voice, but I don't really like Rod's voice much, Pete's I love, like a less irritating Rod Stewart, lol, no offense to his fans, taste is entirely subjective. it was a great vehicle for him. always nice to see these bad boys collaborating. brothers, with all that entails. half a Kiss is better than none!
Aaaaaand he blows the first line of the song…
He hasn't done much since he left KISS, but Peter's voice does not sound half bad here, perhaps due to relative inactivity.
❤ ACE FREHLEY...Spaceman, and PETER CRISS...Catman - are no doubtly the best era of KISS when they were both in the group. ❤
ACE FREHLEY...drunkard, and PETER CRISS...junkie
Wonder if that's hard for him to sing it without actually be playing it. It's hard for me to watch him sing it, without seeing him play it.
Nice arrangement. Well done, Peter Criss.
Awesome. He sounded good and clear here. Can't say that about Paul Stanley.
Peter was great until he got famous. Ace is always great.
Ace and Peter made KISS. They were true rock n roll. The other two were nothing but boring business men.
My favorite Kiss song ever Peter was the best and can still belt this song out . I wish I was there listening to him sing this
Peter Criss sounds excellent... wish he would do an "unplugged" album... with Ace... kinda like Rod Stewart did with Ron Wood back in the early 1990's... his voice just has that raspy soulful quality no one else in KISS ever has come close to...
I once read Paul wanted to sell this song to Rod Stewart but he passed on it. Glad Peter got to do it 🤘🏻
Oh man I'll hate Peter for shit he's done but man some of his songs that maybe hes not written but the he sang are so fucking good
It's a shame that KISS had to end, but let's just be thankful that these guys are still around. I saw Ace last summer and it was an awesome show.
Singers half the guys age and looks tired out lol I seen Pete’s solo he put out there not long ago the guy went on a long drum solo and still looked great
ALWAYS ACE N PETER TILL DEATH ☠️🖤☠️🖤
NO PETER NO ACE ........NOOOOO KISS ... YOU GUYS ROCK 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I love this song by Peter Chris...could be my theme song ***
Awesome
Other than one of the guitars being a little flat it's a good performance. Peter's sounding great!
Paul Stanley was my favorite and one of the best vocalists in rock history but that’s not to say anything bad about Mr. Criss because no one could possibly sing his songs better than he does. The fine tuned gravel of his voice was and is simply magical. I love you, Pete! How about getting back in the studio, your public needs you.
Peter and Ace the best
This brings back a.dlood of memories a d emotions. I remember being in 4th grade and my buddy who's no longer with us, brought in a KISS album and introduced me to a new band. It was around 1973 or 74. Thanks Dave!
Thank you Peter, you got me through the hard times...
🎼You'll be a hard luck woman baby till you find your 🐈 🎶🎶
When they left kiss so did I. Never bought another album from kiss✌️
How do forget the words to your own song lol. Well Paul did write it.
It appears Peter is sporting a rosary. He always did wear crosses
The nursing home/rehab center let them stay out that late at night?
Great performance and great to see Ace & Peter performing together. Big credit also to Paul Stanley for penning the tune
The best half of KISS!
you need a man.
only Kiss reunion we will see
I love Ace and Peter, but Ace was totally lost on this song. Its a good thing the bassist and drummer knew the song.
Still great 😇😇😇😇
thank you so much! this is so amazingly awesome!
