      Amen, don't talk it to death and great video.
      I have a question, do you need to put silicone around the base of the fixture to keep from leaking and any chance if water gets splashed back there to keep from going in crack and dripping below? Pray I phrased that so you could understand me.

    • @DANDLINC
      @DANDLINC  4 года назад

      @@annemoore8911 If properly installed, you shouldn't need silicone. But it would be an easy application and give you a bit more security. Thanks for the comment.

    Thanks for the great video! This is the exact situation that I have, old single handle branching out to 4" spaced apart holes. I'll probably get the same double handled faucet that you installed. One question, do you think it would be overkill to put caulking under the new faucet?

    • @DANDLINC

      I don't think the caulking would be necessary...but it also probably wouldn't hurt. Many plumbers apply silicone upon installation.

I was so excited to think I could do this job myself but then I looked under my vanity and I have copper pipes running right up to the faucet. Is this something that a plumber would need to handle. I'm kind of afraid to undo the nut incase it is sealed up with some sort of cement or something. Please advise. Thanks!
