Wonderful video. I love that it's right to the point, but still easy for a beginner to understand. Lots of these DIY videos either contain too much fluff that makes the videos 10 minutes too long, or they skip the "easy" things that they expect everyone to know. You did it perfectly. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great work, Mr. Clyde. You jus5 earned a new subscriber. Great content!!
Thx! Welcome aboard!
I'm remodeling a trailer for my dad while also living in it. I've never lived in a mobile home and didn't realize how different everything is compared to a traditional house. Anyways, not the point. The point is this is my favorite video I've watched on doing Mobile Home/Trailer Repairs all because someone I think someone said SMIDGE. Seriously, I had to replay a couple parts a couple times because I couldn't stop laughing. Thanks for brightening my day and for helping me gain knowledge (and courage because after watching your video I feel like I can easily do this repair myself) on my path through a new, very bumpy terrain of mobile home repairs. --- Seriously though, did someone say SMIDGE??? Ha!
Lol Thx! And the best of luck with any repairs you do!
Great video...well lit, easy to see...definitely a good tip to connect all that stuff before dropping it back in...so much more room and light to work (and more comfortable) before you drop it in and having to work underneath! I don't know if I would have thought of that...so saved me a ton of time and uncomfortable minutes!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for producing such an easy to follow video. The end result has turned out well for me. 👍
Thx! Much appreciated! Great to hear!
Thanks Clyde! Great, concise video to watch before I begin my afternoon project!
Fantastic! Thanks!
This helped give some confidence for my wife and I to attempt this. We said ‘squidge’ a lot during it. Tomorrow the silicone dries and we see how well we did!
Excellent video to understand, thanks a lot for your hardworking and step by step instructions
Glad it was helpful!
Great video "Squidge"! Anyways, my bathroom sink is not sitting flush into the vanity top all the way around. The vanity top is old and needs replacing but I just noticed that there are hold down areas under the top for those underside sink hold downs. I wondered if I put those back on if my sink might sit flush again?
great and straight to the point video, thanks!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for the walk through!
You bet!
Awesome tutorial! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Done!! Thanks Hombre...
Very Nice! Glad this can Help!
Excellent Work
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video. Helped me out
Glad to hear it!
You are a hoot!! Thanks for the clear, concise steps and helpful tips. I'm going to try this right now!
Glad to help!
Great video in the process of doing the same in my old 1983 mobile home. Mine also has a plastic type sink with those tabs that holds the sink underneath to the vanity top. I got a 53inch long by 22inch wide vanity in the bathroom. So the silicone is the only thing holding the sink in basically?? Love the video alot of helpful information. My old sink was a 20L by 17W sink
Sounds great! Yes Silicone will hold it in...no tabs..
@@basicworks1 that's what I did. Worked great, thanks for the video
Nice video! Ty. Can the water lines be attached at the same time before inserting on the counter?
*Perfect size!!!*
Squidge!!!!! 😂😅😢😂👏👏👏👏love it, great video, thanks brother!
Thx!! Glad you enjoyed it!
You are funny! Thanks for the info…I think I can do this!!!
You can do it!
Wish you would have shown the part when you put the trap back on.
One thing that would have been appreciated also - how to measure your replacement sink.
Do we measure the hole, or the sink? Diameter, or side to side, top to bottom of actual sink?
Measure the hole ..Cut out...To get a sink that fits that hole size...
Thank you. Great clear video. Squidge. :)
Glad it was helpful!
Fantastic job. I am confident that I can do this now, even though I'm 59 year old woman with only a teenaged son to help. But I have 2 problems. 1) My sink cannot be centred and is not currenty, due to the position of the pipe underneath. So I think I should use an oval sink again, so this is a little less apparent. 2) I think they cut a hole in the counter that is a little too large for a standard oval drop in sink. Plus it's a sink with a rubber seal attached to the perimeter of the bowl, as it sits on the counter. I guess I'll have to take out the sink (which shifts already...yike) and see. Thanks again!
You will have to use the same shaped sink that you had before, to fit the countertop properly.
@@slimdude2011 Did the job last summer. I did two bathroom sinks and they look great. Thanks again.
Excellent thank you
You are very welcome!!
Hey, I followed your video, great video by the way. I am having difficulty with attaching the drain pipe to the drain, every time I try it completely lifts both the drain and the sink. I have tried multiple times. Any advice would be appreciated
I am wondering if the quartz or porcelain countertop cracks during the replacement process?
Did you reuse those clips on the bottom or just the silicone on top
No place for clips on new one... Just Silicone!
@@basicworks1 have you ever messed with the double sink ones
What is the brand and size of that sink?
How do I remove and change knob Fawcett to the new Fawcett on second sink
I was told to put plumbers putty to set sink not silicone can u use either?
Any Adhesive !! Yup!!
Good video
You did say squized lol
I Did ...Lol
Thanks. This was pissing me off!
Glad to help!
Thank you!
