Great one Paul. I was 14 in 66,although The Beatles dominated the charts, The Troggs broke through, they had a grungy sound and the songs were great. I live in Reading so not far from Basingstoke, what a beautiful cemetery, so well kept, worth a visit to see who's there and sit on a bench and think about life and how precious it is and think about those who have passed and enjoyed what we have now.

Hi I hope you don't mind me replying, Reading caught my eye. I've been doing my family tree on Ancestry for the past year, a LOT if not most of my maternal gran's family are from Berkshire and South Oxfordshire including Reading. It looks so beautiful and can't wait to see it for myself hopefully in the coming year or two. Cheers, Susan, Queensland.

Loved The Troggs, I was sixteen in 1966 and we were immersed in brilliant music. Reg and the lads were definitely a ‘What you see is what you get’ band. Nothing artificial or heavily over-produced. Paul, it didn’t matter that you didn’t locate a memorial to Reg, your video was so right.

I see the troggs 3 years b4 Reg died on a sensational 60s show in Southend Essex...he was on top form that night..The late great Jimi Hendrix performed a cover of Wild Thing. ( the now famous guitar sacrifice. When Hendrix set fire to his guitar during the performance of wild thing. At the monterrey pop festival in America)Wet wet wet. Love is all around written by Reg...he musta made a impression in the music industry. Shame there's no memorial plaque or headstone to remember him by tho. He left a legacy in his music for sure. What a beautiful cemetery. So well kept. Thanks again Paul for all your travelling...

I never got off on The Troggs, but I do respect what they have achieved.
Cremation at one time wasn't anywhere close to being on my mind, but as I get older I do believe that's the way to go. Nowhere near to a true Viking send off, but close enough.
Can't seem to find anyone who is willing to douse my corpse with lighter fluid and send me on my merry way down a river in a canoe.
So traditional current cremation it will be.
Love the music episodes highlighting musicians of all kind.
Thanks for another good one, that's what she said, Paulie.
"Not that kind of grass", beauty of a line that made me laugh.
    Until the next one..
    Cheers.
    -Jerry

    Hi Paul.
A nice video despite not finding a plaque. Nice gardens. People forget that the Victorians built cemeteries not only for their obvious use but also to create pleasant open spaces where people could enjoy some fresh air away from the polluted areas of industry and streets full of terraced housing. This is still being done today with Councils developing new cemeteries as refuges for wildlife. Keep ‘em coming!
