We lost our son in law two weeks ago from a motorbike accident. I will never forget the knock on the door from the Police and asking where my daughter was. She was driving to where his phone signal had stopped for an hour. My husband got to the scene and the road was closed as the emergency helicopter doctors tried to save him, but it wasn’t meant to be.
They were going to start trying for a baby in the next month and had just gotten a puppy they’d always wanted.
Everyone please don’t take anything for granted in life. Always tell your loved ones how much you care and love them, and never leave or sleep on an argument.
Life’s too precious and you just don’t know when your life is over. Never take it for granted.
Much love to everyone who’s lost a loved one recently.

R.I. P Phyllis Dixey, I never saw you perform but to do that would have been appreciated by so many. You were one amazing lady. Rest peacefully.
I do love looking at gravesites and seeing so many beautiful gravestones. The ones that always reduce me to tears are the ones of children who died to young, the ones who were taken away from their families xx
I traveled to Belgium, stayed with some friends but when I was asked what I wanted to go and see, a graveyard, the lady who took me to a graveyard was so upset at going, she explained that the graveyard was were her parents were laid to rest. But over the other side was gravestones which belonged to the Jewish community who were killed by the Germans, I did pay my respects to the Jewish graves. I have never ever seen a cemetery that was so serene, beautiful and peaceful, all the graves had flowers, the grounds were kept clean and even the rubbish bins were emptied on a regular basis
I just wish that the cemetery’s in the U.K. were kept as beautiful
Thank you Paul for all that you do xx

What a beautiful cemetery Paul...Phyllis was so controversial at the time. When you think how prudish and Conservative society was back then. Good on her I say...shame she passed so young . Thankyou Paul for bringing Phyllis to us....Mary Millington was the other controversial adult artist you was thinking of Paul. You covered her final resting place on a previous showing. She's still available to be seen on Netflix..

I just feel sorry for the people who are supposedly outraged by fantastic ladies like Phyllis. It was her body and her personal choice to display it. In WW2 she certainly brought happiness delight and joy to all those servicemen who watched her performance and why shouldn't she. Only people who are jealous frigid and joyless would condemn her,

Hey Paul! This was a fantastic video. I just googled Phylis and yes she was fantastic! She converted to Catholicism when diagnosed with cancer. The Y section you visited is the Catholic section. It’s a shame in England society is still prudish and conservative. Less of that in Mainland Europe as nudity on TV is the norm! As always I love your videos and intelligence. RIP Phylis. ✝️

What a lovely film! Like many other members have said, I had not heard of Phillis either. She sounds to have been quite a character. 50 was no age, very sad. We will never know but maybe had she lived, with age, she may have transitioned into main stream entertainment and TV as she sounds to have been quite a talented lady. Also, thanks for showing us around the cemetery, looks a lovely place. Mind you, if someone was snooping around there after dark coming across that statue of the reclining lady reading a book would give you a bit of a fright! 🙂. As always, keep ‘em coming!

Those cemetery workers bless them they take there work seriously and probably have to work non stop to get so much done the place looks tip top then, fantastic actresses back then were very saucy 😮but had a certain class to it,quite posh girls really with high standard of dress and makeup which took them hours, so forgive them for going simpler, wearing less on scenes is what makes you famous and being controversial comes naturally to a star, nice episode as usual Paul. The graves the people the stories the tragedy it’s an heartfelt life is it not .

My partner & I look at other graves just in case any take our interest, quite often it does. In one case there two graves with matching head stones & ornaments. 2 teenagers in one grave & an older person was in the 1 next to them. They all died on the same day do obviously a connection. We took photos & did some research. The older person (in his 40s) was their father, he was a pilot, they were his son's. The plane he was piloting crashed. We've found a few like that.

My two sisters both died in their 30’s, one of a brain haemorrhage and the other was murdered. They are both buried near each other in the “young adult” section of our local cemetery which I think is a lovely idea ❤
