It's too bad when Frontier decides to remove something like this from the game. I'm here now to check it out myself and it is no more. I've been playing Elite dangerous for over 3 years and about a year ago or so I found a huge monolith sticking up on a moon surface. It was really something and I was excited because I actually felt like I really found something. I even went back a couple of times to make sure that it wasn't just a glitch and it was really there and every time I went back it was still there exactly the same. Well it's gone now. What a bummer. Damn, Everytime i hear you talk about rings stuff i wish you would Dissect my favorite system. (HEGEIA YU-O D6-10) Because those Water Giant rings on the edge of the system are massive.. yet before the rings you have a tiny ice planet and after the rings you have a 3 mooned Ammonia World on a different orbit from the rings around it. Sadly the orbits are pretty slow so it can take ages for a great screeny. It's probably not as wierd as these Stella Forge fuck ups. but still nice.

No that was normal speed. It zips at point blank range in just a matter of seconds but the whole orbit is longer
