So Friday I turn 62, and I've decided to celebrate CARPETBAGGER STYLE! I'm driving to Hershey, PA, I'm spending Saturday all day at the Park and after dark in the haunts! I haven't been through a haunt since the year 2000 and thanks to you, Jacob, I can brave it alone and am SO looking forward to it!

The Queen Mary was used as a troop transport ship during world war 2, and was painted grey, leading to her nickname of the Grey Ghost. She's also supposed to be haunted and is on my list of places I want to investigate.

I've been watching you for a long time me and my five-year-old Grandson love all your videos he noticed the carpetbagger
Best haunt I've seen in years. Not overcrowded. Seems handicap accessible. Unique. Who doesn't like Shaw theme. Lighting is very well done to add to more real looking, not overly bloody features. I think better for elementary age children. Lots of detail.
Not only was it overcrowded, they sold more fast passes than general admission and some "fast pass" lines were actually longer

Hey Jacob! The kids and I love watching your videos. Mostly a lurker for the comments! We wanted to give you a suggestion next time you are around Minnesota! We went to SCREAMTOWN in Chaska Minnesota and it was fun! A lot of scares there and the owner is amazing! They have a hayride, a maze, and many haunted houses. Maybe give it a go when you are around!

I bet the real ghosts of the Queen Mary really love all the folks running around in their spooky outfits lol Looks like a fun time tho. I'm one of the weirdos that don't really care for the Halloween haunt shows, but I'd like to do an actual investigation aboard the ship.
I will tell you the truth, there are real ghosts in and around the Queen Mary. Personal experience!

Ticket prices seem fair, & probably worth it but of course no Shaq to see except on video screen. From The Carpetbagger video, the attendance looked pretty low but could have been just the timing. This was on a Saturday night. The scare actors did an amazing job though! Loved seeing the ability to get on the Queen Mary.

Being a British person, and as everybody know we lost our Queen god bless her.. I think she had a real fun side about her. And she loved fun and comedy, I would like to Imagine perhaps when she was somewhat younger. If she could see what had become of her Queen Mary, and saw all the people enjoying and having a great time she would laugh and smile. I don't know why but I can really Imagine that..... We went to the first Shaqtoberfest last year and this year is at least 10 times better! We were there on opening night and did the VIP Experience which included the Engine Room tour.

Wow. I was an event planner for a long time. SOOOO much money was dropped on this event. I guarantee they spent more than the theme parks. Hope it works out. Looks like a lot of fun for those that like to go through the haunts and those that don't. There's A LOT of potential there. Add a major DJ, a few well known bands, and that place is going to burst at the seams. Halfway through the video so there may be more that I don't know yet. Thanks for sharing!

And also in response to many other comments It's so true The Queen Mary Is very haunted. Even the royal's had many strange unexplained happening's.
Not as good as Dark Harbor used to be...but still not bad, glad they added back in a maze inside the ship this year.
This event is still 1000% better than the self proclaimed "world famous" LA Haunted Hayride...which I would avoid at all costs...there are FAR better hayrides all thru the state at places like Hobbs Grove and Fear Farm
Last year this event was basic and nothing special, but this year you can tell right away that Shaq probably bought whatever remaining assets were left of Dark Harbor and Incorporated it all into this 2nd year of Shaqtoberfest.
And YES ! The haunted hayride is an Abomination that should not exist. The actual hayride is a joke with busted animatronics and corny giant inflatable spiders. Add to the fact that it's next to a loud ass freeway and you've got yourself a total shit event that I would not entertain attending even if it was $5
We have a big haunted attraction in Gulfport Mississippi. I've never been but I hear it's large and good time.

I'm not sure how much truth there is in it but, "Shaq Diesel" was a lockeroom name from his L.A. Laker's days. After each game he would work up a funk so strong that it smelt like Diesel Fuel. Thus, Shaq Diesel!
