As with all of these brilliant bands, we loved the music but took their excellence for granted. We always thought that it would be this good. Little did we know.

“I’m Mandy, Fly Me” is an enigmatic, melodic, eloquent mix of music and wordplay. Atmospheric with psychedelic patterns, that leads listeners into a fantasy world accessed through a poster.
When I was nine years old my father bought me a used cassette tape recorder. He bought with a recorded Greek songs cassette. The first thing I did was to record on one of the cassette sides some songs from the radio. The songs were I'm Mandy fly me, Still crazy after all these years, and under my thumb. That was an excellent way to start my musical journey.

But they said no, no, no, no

And starin' at a wall

Her promise up above me
Well I wouldn't be here at all
So if you're travellin' in the sky
Don't be surprised if someone said: "Hi"

This video takes me back to when I was a young girl in the 1970's
jackie mcleod great days Jackie
Takes me back to the summer of 1976 on holiday in Gt Yarmouth, sat on the beach for 2 weeks, bliss! I would swap my holidays abroad for a trip back to rhe 1970's in a caravan again.
I'm so lucky to have been able to enjoy 10cc at their peak. Their songs still stand up today and I unshakeably acknowledge that as a 14 year-old boy, I fancied the pants off Eric Stewart - it was his eyes that did it and yes, still do. 🙂
My drug of choice in the day....& 10cc 😊😉
Great memories ! Forgot how good they were
I love this song ❤❤❤❤10cc. J.Xxxxx
Just one word sums up 10cc. Superb
They were making many of these songs in Strawberry studios in Stockport, Greater Manchester. Cool !
Not bad for 4 lads from Manchester …. This is my fave 10cc song …I was 12 when this first came out , had a crush on Eric 😆😆…. Eric’s vocals and the amazing guitar by him and Lol ,wish they would just do one last tour for all us youngsters and the new generation listening to their tunes 🥰🥰
Back in the day when writers poured out their hearts out and sang with feeling.
Listen also to Justin Heyward and Colin Blunstone.
Days VERY VERY SADLY MISSED 😢😢😢
Sheer classic.
Prog Rock elements at it's best , Got to get myself a Beyer M88 to add to the collection of vintage Mics if I'm ever going to recapture the 70s
10cc really were the" Perfect Embodiment Of Mainstream And Cerebral Genius" !!! From Adrian 1965
A seriously underrated band and equally underrated song!
BEST MUSICAL DAYS, EVER.

YOUR DAD WAS A TRUE MUSIC LOVER.
A proper tune
I'm glad that a song like this has been made, so it hasn't been missed. I've always loved it and it's one of my favourites.

Beautiful memories when life was delicious !!!!🤗❣️
Funny how some songs take you back to very specific moments in the past. I heard this song as I was leaning over the side of the Felixstowe to Europoort ferry running away to Europe with just a few quid in my pocket after I realised the girl I loved had no feelings towards me.
