Can't wait to see how it turns out and what kind of bettas there will be. I just set up my first aquarium yesterday (60l, almost 16 gallons) and I chose to use plenty of plants because it looks nice. Hopefully they will survive. Of course no fish yet, but I saw the most gorgeous female betta in my local fish store and I will cry blood and howl to the moon if someone buys it before my cycling is done.
I'm so excited to see how this tank will look with the bettas!! And thank you for your videos - I'm new to fish keeping, specifically two bettas, and you have helped me out so much with your videos! I have a Fluval Spec V and a Marineland Portrait, so your content on those were especially helpful.
Thanks for all of you in depth videos! It's been so helpful making my first setup- i basically just went down your recommended list and got everything haha My tank is cycling now but I was wondering if you could give me recommendations for when I could order a betta from online. I'm having trouble finding one near me and i'm not sure which online sellers would be best.
Are you still enjoying having this tank split like this? I actually just ordered the exact same dividers! I’m wondering if I’ll be able to create a space for my Pygmy corydoras to go through or under the dividers but my betta will not… I guess I’ll see when I get them!
My betta is laying at bottom of the tank for 2 weeks now. What I did was to add methylene blue and rock salt but there's no changes after 4 days. I don't know what to do with him. He can't stay at the top of the water and just sink
Hey boss, was curious how your dividers are holding up. Looking to get some for an upcoming 20 gallon long betta tank. I’ve seen lots of people complaining the fish can slip through
what's good man, they're holding up well. my guppies have definitely been able to swap between the sections. i don't think it'll be an issue for bettas since they're much bigger, but we'll see... lol
@@Pharmaquatics I'll have to look into it! Hubby does 3D printing so maybe he can design a frame to hold foam, would act as divider and grazing wall at the same time!
I hope those dividers and tank cover is also available here in the Philippines. I had to DIY or custom order which increases the cost significantly. 😢😢
Hey! Been watching your vids foe a while! I'm thinking of getting a FLUVAL SPEC 5 galon, FLUVAL edge 5 gallon, or fluval flex 10 gallon. Which would you prefer?
Try Skillshare out if you'd like!! skl.sh/pharmaquatics02221
That website also sells custom lids so that there’s a less likely chance of the bettas escaping, they’re really nice and cover a lot of the sound

I’m just about to do a divided tank. Thanks for the info on the filter layouts. I’ll keep that in mind! New sub from Australia 🇦🇺❤️

Was that blue spritz the water conditioner?
my parents finally agreed to let me keep a fish. but i do need to get straight A in my up coming examination
Great! Best of luck to your exams, study hard 👍
@@ithewho6603 thanks ✨
that’s sick! get those A’s and get that tank cycling!

Quick question. Can you put a male and female betta in a 5 gallon divider tank? Recently did it. But they don't seem to bother
Can't wait for the next vid!
thanks bro!

Betta fish will be fine without filter in heavily planted tank or basic small sponge filter. Heater is more important.
I have 15 males together. All from the same spawn but they're fine. Best dividers ever
thats impressive! how long have you had them together?
I wonder if this would also work for shrimp?! The holes are probably too big and would let through shrimplets?
shrimplets would definitely go through unfortunately. wanted to do something similar! i think there are mesh dividers out there though
@@Pharmaquatics I'll have to look into it! Hubby does 3D printing so maybe he can design a frame to hold foam, would act as divider and grazing wall at the same time!
can those be clear instead of black?
would be too stressful for the bettas being in constant line of sight with each other
Just add the clear slides that you use, either acrylic or glass then buy a frosted film for it and you should be good on not stressing the fish out👍
I have no idea if my fish is underweight or has swim bladder???? I’ve switched video after video and still can’t tell. What do I do??
Is it enough space for betta fish ... Ppl say 1 betta need 5 gallon tank ..
20/3 = 6.67
5 gallons is the absolute minimum for a single betta but they’d probably prefer a 10 gallon instead

Would love to edit you videos for the channel! Just throwing that out there!
The two outflows should not be 50% each into the middle section but instead 1/3 each so all 3 sections have 2/3 flow.
Hey! Been watching your vids foe a while!
I'm thinking of getting a FLUVAL SPEC 5 galon, FLUVAL edge 5 gallon, or fluval flex 10 gallon.
Which would you prefer?
I always gotta recommend the bigger one, more margin for error. go for the flex 10 if you can!
@@Pharmaquatics thanks!! What do you think about the Fluval Vista 8.5? It'll save me about 50$
I tried this and what ever part doesn’t have filter gets filthy.
agreed - manual cleansing definitely will be needed unless you keep a HOB in each, but from a filtration rate, still is overkill
I have no luck with fish. But my snails and frogs do fine. I just stick with them.
hmm I got a 20g marine land long and a 20g top fin....let me go measure
I've gotten a skin condition on my hands since having fish. I think it's because I always have my hands in the water.
