I was so hyped for this game, I have a GeForce RTX 2080Ti and all updates do done everywhere, but im still freezing every move I make in the game so had to refund it, im quite upset because I think its on my end why its not running properly
@@Bahzarrethat doesn't even make sense why would a hdd ever be a better option. You should probably stop listening to ppl who don't know wtf they are talking about
"Is it on an SSD?" is going to be the "took an arrow to the knee" of Starfield. Yeah, same boat. With how widespread the problem is with so many different rigs, high and low, I think this is just gonna need a patch. Which... REALLY sucks spending 100 bucks to play the game pre-release. Can't even get past the first combat encounter on full potato mode.
See that's the weird thing I had no issues for 24 hours of gameplay and then bomb audio and visual freezing and lag I don't understand I literally did nothing to it
Yeah I have the same issue. I had to use the Disk Cahce Enabler mod to stop the visual stutters and freezes but it did nothing for the audio. Bethesda really should have spent some time optimizing the game
I had desync issues with Starfield after preloading on Steam last night. I think my gaming laptop may only have internal HDD storage. Would an external SSD like the Crucial X8 be good enough to run Starfield?
what a solution we knew that -.- wasting 2 min
Xbox users, remove starfield from quick resume & restart xbox, thank me later 🤗

are you running it on a ssd or hdd? because it has to be run off a ssd for the game to run proplery.
@@anxiteyslayer3463 I had it on the HDD because someone said the complete opposite to me, that it needs to be off HDD not SSD

Thanks it was exactly the issue and I had a EVGA RTX 3060 12G Now its smooth as microwaved butter
I'm glad it helped! Thanks for watching!

Same bad game

Same here, it is just unplayable

Same. Played for 15 hours, some lag with the game settling down but otherwise ok. Now it's 😫.
The only non HDD thing on my computer is my C drive, and that thing is filled files the computer needs to run. I don't have 120gb on that.
What if I move steam to my D drive, I have like no room on my C drive after deleting a bunch of games. I got like 3 drives its a mess lol

its on my ssd and still causing issues
Hard drives are meant for data storage only, never play games on them, use an SSD.
I only use SSDs, Starfield is even installed on my M.2.

No external ssd, external ssd are basicaly like the internal hdd
w u t
look into getting a m.2, should be decently easy to do@@CheapCreep
i try to find how to fix but all of channel think use ssd can fix. dude i use m.2gen3 still freezing
so as a person with no SSD, the solution is: buy one? that sucks lol
on my ssd same problem
this works for 40 series
3060🤣
