He's too smart to actually take that saying seriously though. If "never sell anything people can get for free" was actually a sensible thing to say, then nobody would ever buy video editing software, audio editing software, office suites etc (pretty much any kind of PC software that isn't a video game or highly niche). You and MKBHD somehow forgot that open source software is a thing, and the vast vast VAST majority of people buy things they can get for free all the time.

I was well happy with my pro got both 5 an pro and on a 4k oled the pro with enhanced games look soooooo much better also none enhanced games didn't get the frame drops that the 5 got even in performance mode on some games that get busy. Personally I think your all wrong

In theory it is, but I don't think the screen material is durable enough for long term ownership, probably. Not that I have had any experience with any folding phones. I believe tests have shown fingernails are enough to begin to scratch them, which is not much, and for some of us that have naturally long nails it's an absolute no, hard glass screens only. Making the screen an even bigger vulnerability while still being of the same kind of material was always going to end poorly.
@@EricLing64 from my experience, the utg will end up cracking if you live in a climate where you get snow half the year. The temperature change when you use it outside, and then go inside. It's just not good for it. My zfold 2 utg cracked all along the seem. It's subtle enough, you feel it if you pass your finger on top, and luckly, it hasn't affected the actual display. But yeah. Plastic screen will end up breaking even if you take care of it. Great.
hey windows has deleted the control panel before in windows 8..it was so bad they litterally had to produce a whole new version that restored the control panel in windows 8.1 so I suspect the control will be back soon enough.

MS doesn't know what to do with Win11, what it should be, where it should go-- and everyone's confused about the interface. I know I am. My question is always 'where is everything, where are my files, why doesn't (this command) work anymore. I spent more time babysitting the OS than actually getting stuff done. I'm back here on Win7, which is a danger in its own right. But where does a person go? The only flavor of Linux I can deal with, is Android. And I want nothing to do with Apple. Oh well. Happy 2025!

Why is that such a big issue? I understand it takes more time to unload instead of just swapping a card. But it seems reasonable when you compare CFexpress, costing 800 USD for a 1 TB, with the same amount of storage in the Samsung, which goes for 1400 USD for the entire unit. It's just not reasonable to demand unreliable storage on purpose.
Not an issue. With 512/1024gb versions there's no shortage of space. They do come at a premium but frankly, good sd cards are horrendously expensive, and still worse in speed and longevity than built-in memory.
