We got our 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320 into the 11s!

Last night we took our 2019 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320 back out to Mission Raceway Park for the Friday night street legal drags. This time we removed the front passenger seat, rear seat, and Harmon Kardon sub box. With a bit of advice from a fellow RUclipsr and 1320 owner we upped the air pressure in the front tires to 44 PSI and ran 18 PSI in the rear tires as we have before. For the best runs of the night I launched the 392 hemi off the foot brake at 1600 RPM and knocked down 2 11 second passes in the car. First was an 11.97 and then I backed it up with an 11.92. The Nexen drag radials really seemed to like the 1600 RPM launch to get the car down the 1/4 mile in it's best times yet!

Practice makes perfect. I think when they move cones out of the way and you get to run in the groove. 2,000 RPM on foot brake will hook. Also don't heat tires up too much it will have a reverse effect

Hey man, you need to tell track staff that you're on Drag Radials and they will typically move the cone so you can run in the groove. They put the cones there to prevent guys running normal Street Radials from tearing up the track prep in the groove. From a track worker's perspective, it can be hard to tell the difference between a normal Street Radial and a Drag Radial at a glance while they're working to sweep debris and prep the lanes between passes. Congrats on the 11's! Those 1320's are proving to be effective at doing just what Dodge built them to do, and that's in mid July! I believe the car will go DEEP into the 11's in the Fall when you guys get some cool, crisp DA to work with! Badass car brother!!!

Congrats! Why don’t u try a set of front skinnies. I got mine from Modern Spare, they look just like the ones from a Demon Crate, 18x4 with MT skinny radials, you will save another 30 LBS over the factory wheels n tires. I’m going to track my 1320 in August. Steve
iS THE 1320 Challenger faster than the Challenger Scat Pack from 0-60 mph or getting onto freeway ramps with both cars using all season tires? This is not using that drag racing mode in the 1320 just leave car in "Drive". Also the 1320 comes with the functional hood that is on the Hellcat Challenger? Which hood comes on the Scat Pack if you don't get the shaker option. Is that hood functional?
The reason the cone is there is for street tires to stay out of the groove for the drag radial/slick guys so you don't tear up the launch. Honestly the car comes factory with drag radials and you need to tell them that so they can remove the cone.
What happen with your clearcoat problem... in "very slow" process with mine...
Such a cool car. What great times we live in when a car manufacturer markets a car for drag racing. Unfortunately at $50k plus, can't afford it. Wish I could....guess I'll just have to be content with my $35k 2018 mustang, which BTW runs 11.5 at 122 with nothing more than e85 and drag pack. You can be sure though if I was rich I would have a 1320, same color......

Can the rear seat be added back? I'm looking at one that was ordered with the child safety latch system option ( on build sheet) but in its current form it has the rear seat delete installed....no belts ect are the spots there to simply bolt seat and belts back in?

I have a '21 and a '22 Challenger 1320's and the best I can get them to run is 12.3 at the Las Vegas track, and that is with one seat and skinny front runners. But the density altitude there is terrible, averaging somewhere between 4,000 and 5,000...
Would love to know where to get a 1320 hat like that! I just bought a 2023 model here in the states.

Must be high elevation and a bad D/A cause that car should go 11’s without removing the seats. I went 12.0 with a tire in my Scat Charger with full interior.
I think 1320 is advertised to do 11s from the factory. I know....
