The fact he started making calls to local bigwigs while he was stopped, and visited the mayor don't help his case. There's a similar case in Florida involving a local politician who gets pulled over for texting while driving. First thing he says to the officer is, "Do you know who I am?" That's never a good tactic.
Judge clearly crossed the line.
I seem to recall seeing that he also has a history of walking out of Walmart without paying. Check out the civil rights lawyer. He is in WV.
A short suspension together with a public apology.

It's scary when a male Karen SovCit is also a judge. I agree however, an admonishment this time, with a clear warning that should he cross the line again the consequences will be much more serious.
