Can I get in contact with you please? I was shooting in the low 80's, making progress... but I am struggling now (almost lost my swing). You know your stuff. Any help would be seriously appreciated. Hope to hear from you.
My man is a natural coaching legend, just communicates so well without missing a beat. Content just made simple. The definition of intelligence is getting something complicated and making it sound simple
My instructor has me doing this to get my arms more infront of my body in the backswing.
This is one of the best videos on you channel , been doing this everyday for two weeks and fixed my backswing. I find that little hinge move at the start make everything so much better.
Incredible content guys. Hard to find RUclips instruction this detailed. Great stuff.
Thanks Rusty, means the world, and why we put this out! Thanks for the support!!
Adam, been watching instructors on RUclips for the last year. 95% just want the “traffic” with promises! Your only one of two I follow now. Your teaching is incredible and easy to understand. Not only to you show but explain, which I love. If I didn’t live in Europe, I’d be across for lessons. Cheers bro. Keep up the sick work 💃⛳️💥🐥
There is so much truth in one of your final statements. "Sometimes you know what you need to work on. Sometimes you even know what it is you're doing wrong and what you need to work on, but just having someone there to clarify exactly what it is and exactly how you need to go about it and what's relevant to you want what isn't." I have found that true with learning instruments as well. There is so much information on the internet but having an amazing teacher to focus your efforts makes all the difference. I haven't taken a golf lesson since I was 11 years old and want to pick up the game again this year (I'm currently a 17 handicap). If I lived anywhere remotely close to Adam I'd use him, but I'm in the Midwest and just signed up for a lesson with Todd Sones.
I love your enthusiasm towards the lesson. This looks like quite a drastic change from start to finish of lesson 😳. Love it. Wish I was out on the west coast for in person lesson!
Thank you!
Helped me a ton. First time taking backswing without hitting the wall feels so good.
Wow. This is great! Can’t wait to try this. Thank you!
Been following you guys for a few weeks now and first of all I would like to say THANK YOU for taking the time to share your content with your students. after watching your videos I have to say my wife is not impressed when I grab a club and head in to the back yard to hit some balls in to the net during the evening but hey it is a bloke thing 😀 My golf swing feels so powerful when I am now hitting the ball and cannot wait to take it to the course when I get back from my holiday from Greece. Thanks again and WOW great tutorials!!
Masterclass thank you.
Turning the hands up the wall is a game changer for me. I’m just now realizing that I stall the chest and lift the arms. Can’t wait to give this a try at the range.
The way that you teach is so great!!!
Wow Adam awesome work. For me your the best coach I've ever seen. Greaaaaaat work😊

What à good job !! Bravo.
Thanks again Alain!
Very good post 🎉🎉 .
OMG i have been doing this drill for 10 mins 3 times a day for 3 days in conjunction with pump drill, and i am amazed at how good this feels and im blown away that i dont hit the wall. i love the feeling of pushing the club butt down to start the swing to get it out in front of my hands. as a chronic slicer i have always had an out to wayyyy out swing, with the pump drill i can honestly say i have a slight in to out path for the first time ever. thank you so much guys for the quality lessons im planning on a complete week of these drill before i go anywhere near the course so fingers crossed.
Awesome, this is the exact reason we started this channel, your comment means the world to us and exactly why we do what we do! Thank you for taking the time to watch and share! It is the fuel we need to keep going!
Great detail and instructions guys! Some of the best golf instruction and advice on RUclips
Thanks Austin, we are here to help Golfers and Grow the game!
From quebec canada…great video helped me alot top video on the wall drill should be great to see if we cross the line..that help me to stop over swinging… thanks adam😉😉
great explanation!
THANKS as usual Heriberto!!
The great ones find a way
Thank you, Thank you, thank you from the far Italy. After the "wall lesson" I got that I had never really got anything until now. I have just added roughly 10 meters to any single iron but this is nothing; what I really got is consistency: just reached 150 meters with my 6 iron for 5 balls in a row and they landed in a range of 20 meters approximately. So grateful: just put "another break in the wall".
Fantastic! Thank you for watching! 🇮🇹
Fantastic content and really well delivered. Well done!
Thank you!
Great video my man!! I have such a wide takeaway and this has been such an awesome drill for me.
Thanks for the support and comment, glad you are liking the content!
I have to watch these over and over to get the actual meat. Wall drill sets it all up. Remember to set up good and rotate/turn properly. Without rotation you will damage your wall!
Best instruction hands down.
Hats off.
One thing that has to be done to be successful is to take these positions and hit them in continuous motion.
Also without "connected" proper rotation you will not see the benefits.
Proper rotation and club on plane gets you straight powerful consistent ball flight.
It doesn't have to be crazy turning past parallel, but good conected body rotation
Adam......thank you. Excited to see your students compete.
Deceptively simple yet endlessly complicated
What an impressive drill. On every one of the shots I too was just expecting the club to hit the wall.
I truly believe this just helped me figure it all out
Yes! Let’s go!!
Absolutely amazing 👍 thanks so much for this it’s massively helped me 🙏🏻
Great to hear!
Stumbled onto one of your videos about the takeaway which led me to your channel.
Love your detailed coaching style. Keep up the great work. Subbed.
Thank you!
Love all your videos Porzak can’t thank you enough for the time you take to make these. One question, how come there are tons of wall drill videos saying you should aim to hit the wall? Are they training something different? Or is there some other detail I’m missing?
I’ve watched lots of golf coaches on RUclips, many very good ones we’ve all watched. This man is by FAR the best online coach I’ve seen in my short golf career. Thank you Adam! Hopefully I can come get some lessons in the future 🤘
Thank you so much for the kind words! We would love to have you out, email us at info@porzakgolf.com for all details on in-person lessons and to book!
That guy is definitely not the best coach on RUclips. I am.
@@georgewalker03 talking shite and where is your videos teaching. Porzak would blow you away.
Just watched this video, i have always struggled to get the club up properly. I have watched a lot of stuff on youtube, i can honestly say this seems to be the best instruction i have watched , just had a light bulb moment repeating the wall drill. I live in the UK can you do video lessons. Either way great content, keep them coming. Thanks.

Everything is clicking in my brain after seeing this drill, now I know where my good swings are coming from
Boom! Let’s go!!
Is this the same tips and backswing I should use for my driver club swing?
Adam - I'm new to your channel and love the content and instructions. Tried “the wall drill” today with my 7-iron and am finally, FINALLY, looking, and feeling like a proper swing. Had a question: Does this drill work with the driver too? Fairway woods?
Yes but you need to be much further from the wall!
Was wondering what my MTI bro was up to. Miss your always energetic content Gabe!
Thanks brother appreciate it, stoked tp be supporting Porzak, as you can see, great stuff here! - Gabe
If this man was in uk and I was young I’d move and he be my coach
Perfect drill as I watch some Monday night football 👊🏼
Love to hear that Frank! Thanks for the comment and support!
Awesome video I got my free lesson today baby ⛳️👍✌️
Thanks Ronaldo, that's what we are here for. Glad you are liking the videos, appreciate the support! -Team Porzak
He's a machine!lol.What a great lesson.
Hey YA! When are you coming to Miami?!?
My biggest issue with Porzak golf is it’s ruining my sleeping (and my gf’s) because I stay up way too late watching video after video. I tell her it’ll be worth it when I have that butter swing.
So for the wrist hinge would you say it should feel like you're pushing the butt of the club with your hands towards your left foot (right handed golfer)?
What does 'keep the club outside of my hands' mean? The head of the club out forward past the hands on the first check point?
This seems to work for short irons and wedges, but does it work for driver and long irons?
Is the wall drill only for irons......or do you have a unique drill for drivers
Is this move the same with driver?
The wall drill is just what I needed. Thanks a ton! What app is that on the iPad to compare before and after?
V1
Good tennis teachers go like, “go play at the wall” and then come back. The wall doesn’t lie lol
Loved this video. Adam what app do you use for the side by side comparison?
V1
Ouch! Old man comment. That looked just like me. I am old, but I guess I need to stand straighter :) Great video. I'm going out today to see if I can avoid scratching my clubs on a wall.
Thanks Kevin, let us know how it went! We appreciate the support!
I love this video. A question I am cuabout is the stack and tilt. I have been doing it for about 2 years it works for me IMO. But i did notice you kept mention don't stack over the ball as I do in stack and tilt. My question is should I stay away fro. The S&T. I do use your info and apply to my swing. I just don't want to cause and future issues lol. Just an honest question I am curious to know what you or anyone on here think about it. Thank you keep up the great work
We like to leave the lower body a little forward and turn around the brace in the post but we definitely like to make sure that the chest turns over the back foot which is very different than the stack and tilt. This will allow the player to move into the golf ball without getting in front of it and maintain continuous rotation through impact
@@PorzakGolf wow... 1st thank you for the reply and 2nd breaking it down for me. My new go to channel. I have been sharing with my friends. Keep up the great work.🤙🏼🤙🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Hi adam, everytime i do this wall drill i feel like i'm across the line, do you feel the same ??
Working on the same for a couple of days. Weird feeling having the arms so high. But thats the plain, believe it or not 😬
Feel versus real is so different in golf!
This is a very vertical swing and as you say down the line but don’t we want to hit from the inside?
Does the wall drill work for clubs like Driver and 3 wood?
Hey Laura, thanks for watching and the question. It does work for longer clubs but as opposed to having the heels 6 to 8 inches away from the wall, you would want to step approximately 18 inches away from the wall. Thanks for watching and commenting, hopefully that supports you!
Is this the same backswing feeling you want with a driver as well ?
Now with the driver You couldn't do this drill because it is a longer club and it does go a little more at a flatter angle per say. Or what I could have asked is what club would you start not wanting to do the wall drill with
Great Video like always. My Question would be how do you feel the Power to create the Speed when you have the weight on the inside of the right foot? Do you push down into the ground? Or feel like more that you push 45 degrees of the ground? Kind regards from Austria here
Great video Adam 👍🏼🏌️♂️
I have been struggling with an inside takeaway for years that gets the club across the line at the top
Will the inside takeaway be the cause of my coming over the top on the downswing.
Keep. These video coming you are a fantastic teacher of the game of golf
Thank Paul 👍🏼🏌️♂️
Is it ok to get across the line while doing this ?
Not ideal but certainly better than scraping your club on the wall! Lol 😂
Will the towel under arm pit work with this drill ?
Oh yeah
Great! The towel will my guard rail for this drill. If I hit the wall with the towel, there is my issue. Thank you!
Adam, great video's. My question is I notice all the players choke up on the club, is there a reason for this move. Kindly explain, thank you
I think it just seems like that, all players are different in where they like to grab the club!
Does this work with driver??
You would need to be much further away from the wall
I definitely do the same thing. Get the club behind me on a flat plane and then drag the club through with my body. How much are your lessons?
Email us here Johnny, info@porzakgolf.com Look forward to working with you.
In the mean time HE IS GOING UP and his weight and spine is tilted LEFT! Public enemy number 1 , a reverse weight shift!!
☆☆☆☆☆
I get the drill, but to keep saying he’s perfect at the top when he’s way upright, not sure what we’re looking at here lol
Doesn’t look like his right knee is staying flexed
