    My instructor has me doing this to get my arms more infront of my body in the backswing.
    This is one of the best videos on you channel , been doing this everyday for two weeks and fixed my backswing. I find that little hinge move at the start make everything so much better.

    There is so much truth in one of your final statements. "Sometimes you know what you need to work on. Sometimes you even know what it is you're doing wrong and what you need to work on, but just having someone there to clarify exactly what it is and exactly how you need to go about it and what's relevant to you want what isn't." I have found that true with learning instruments as well. There is so much information on the internet but having an amazing teacher to focus your efforts makes all the difference. I haven't taken a golf lesson since I was 11 years old and want to pick up the game again this year (I'm currently a 17 handicap). If I lived anywhere remotely close to Adam I'd use him, but I'm in the Midwest and just signed up for a lesson with Todd Sones.

    OMG i have been doing this drill for 10 mins 3 times a day for 3 days in conjunction with pump drill, and i am amazed at how good this feels and im blown away that i dont hit the wall. i love the feeling of pushing the club butt down to start the swing to get it out in front of my hands. as a chronic slicer i have always had an out to wayyyy out swing, with the pump drill i can honestly say i have a slight in to out path for the first time ever. thank you so much guys for the quality lessons im planning on a complete week of these drill before i go anywhere near the course so fingers crossed.

    Thank you, Thank you, thank you from the far Italy. After the "wall lesson" I got that I had never really got anything until now. I have just added roughly 10 meters to any single iron but this is nothing; what I really got is consistency: just reached 150 meters with my 6 iron for 5 balls in a row and they landed in a range of 20 meters approximately. So grateful: just put "another break in the wall".

    I have to watch these over and over to get the actual meat. Wall drill sets it all up. Remember to set up good and rotate/turn properly. Without rotation you will damage your wall!
    Best instruction hands down.
    Hats off.
    One thing that has to be done to be successful is to take these positions and hit them in continuous motion.
    Also without "connected" proper rotation you will not see the benefits.
    Proper rotation and club on plane gets you straight powerful consistent ball flight.
    It doesn't have to be crazy turning past parallel, but good conected body rotation
    Adam......thank you. Excited to see your students compete.

But i did notice you kept mention don't stack over the ball as I do in stack and tilt. My question is should I stay away fro. The S&T. I do use your info and apply to my swing. I just don't want to cause and future issues lol. Just an honest question I am curious to know what you or anyone on here think about it. Thank you keep up the great work

    • @PorzakGolf
      @PorzakGolf  2 года назад +3

      We like to leave the lower body a little forward and turn around the brace in the post but we definitely like to make sure that the chest turns over the back foot which is very different than the stack and tilt. This will allow the player to move into the golf ball without getting in front of it and maintain continuous rotation through impact

      Hey Laura, thanks for watching and the question. It does work for longer clubs but as opposed to having the heels 6 to 8 inches away from the wall, you would want to step approximately 18 inches away from the wall. Thanks for watching and commenting, hopefully that supports you!
