Good in general. I like some compassion for men who are progressive, socialist, but always hear about this group called "straight white men." I put up with it, because I don't want to be seen as a reactionary, but I don't like it. Is the SWMan rich or poor, for instance? As the author points out, males can be raped, bullied, beat up by other males. Also many straight males have engaged in sexual behavior when they were boys, especially mutual masturbation. fantasizing about girls all the while. One thing I would like to ask and offer as an issue that I would like to see addressed by women writers is whether women make the first move in terms of initiating a relationship? It is scary when you always have to make the "first move." I'm not talking about initiating sex per se but relationships that could very well lead to an "intimate relationship." BTW, I like that phrase. If one used it with other men, though, you might get funny looks. Two of my most memorable relationship with female persons were those in which the girl expressed interest in me first. I like feminists with a sense of humor. The late Barbara Ehrenreich comes to mind. See her "Class Consolidation" article.
