Lindsey on that guitar and pouring out his heart and soul into those lyrics! Forgot how incredible this song was.
Dang Mr Buckingham…chills to the bone!!! He never got enough credit!!!
One of my many favourite tunes from fleetwood Mac. Lindsey is a legend on a guitar! ❤
Hey you might like a band called The Doublejumps if you like Fleetwood Mac
Too bad they fired him.
Me too
He had some shoes to match and you can’t compare such greatness
One loved emoting through the guitar and loved the amazing sound of the band and the other were involved and loved making amazing music together…
Holly crap . This man is amazing . Where have i been
saaaame 😪
I'm with you!
Dammmn..... THAT solo..... wowsers.... Lindsey is the man
Hey you should look up a band called The Doublejumps if you like Fleetwood Mac, you might like them 💕
His finger-picking style still amazes me: how it could be so precise, and how it sounds like he's using a pick during the solos.
Lindsay's passion brought tears to my eyes!
@@grabgrabgrabthegrab Stop spamming this. They're a twee, gender-bent Aussie indie band, nothing like Fleetwood Mac or any of the other rock acts you compare them to. I'd compare them to Architecture in Helsinki (just not good).
LINDSAY AT PEAK ❤ he honestly still is and he was SOOOO overshadowed! but that picking 😮
When you hear debates about who the best guitarist in rock history is/was, I rarely hear Lindsey get a mention. His technique is impeccable, and his stylistic versatility is unlike any other guitarist’s I’ve seen. For me he’s certainly up there
He is dif.in the top 10
He uses only his bare fingers too
He’s in my top 5 for sure!
so so so sos so understand bro 💯
@@runehakonhelmundsen9225 yup we don’t get til we age maybe ❤
Lindsey Buckingham is AWESOME!!! They got the standing ovation they deserved!
I'm so grateful this was recorded and shared.
Yeah, a clip of this made me determined to find it. It's so damn beautiful and it reignited my love for Fleetwood Mac.
Yeah, this live version is the best! 😁👍🏻
He is SHREDDING that guitar solo, put all other music to shame.
specially to post 2000 music which is so dull big sound without spirit ...ok i am a boomer.
God they were beautiful, so young and fresh. This is a masterpiece!
This song❤❤. I cried my eyes to it after hearing it the first time. As a Gen Z, it's saddening to have not grown up in the times of Fleetwood Mac but I'm also grateful to have the opportunity to experience this amazing group. Will probably never see them live (here in South Africa) but rock on Fleetwood Mac, and especially Christine McVie❤
I saw Lindsey in a tiny theatre in Ohio, sat 750, about 15 years ago! Absolutely incredible in such an intimate setting! He rocked out the whole show exactly like I remembered him at the World Series of Rock stadium show at Cleveland Municipal Stadium in my youth!
I've never heard a version of this song where Stevie sings along. Their voices are chemistry.
She's not so innocent

I agree totally 😊😊❤xxxx🙂
Oh My Goodness!!!!! Please keep uploading HD remasters of early historic amazing Fleetwood Mac, these have been priceless and incredible.
Hey you should look up a band called The Doublejumps if you like Fleetwood Mac, you might like them 💕
Will do right now :)@@grabgrabgrabthegrab
God, Lindsey and the whole band are absolutely rocking. I like to see them when they were young and just starting 😂
Don't know who my favourite is 😊 always wanted to be a bit stevie and definitely crushed on lindsy, loved the madness of mick and of course not forgetting the lovely Christine and John 😊 and yes Fleetwood mac forever ✨️😊❤✨️
Lord almighty, what an incredible song! Rhythmic, the undertones are heavy and the lyrics, the passion behind the performance, just pure gold!
Lindsey is such an intense performer! ❤
Hey you might like a band called The Doublejumps if you like Fleetwood Mac
He looked cool with the big hair and beard.
Doesn't even need a guitar pick, just his fingers. Far out.
What a classic visual .
Stevie and Linds at the top of the game .
It does not get more beautiful in rock music than this .
The vocals, base pounding, drums and leads are top notch. Blessing to every soul ears
This is my favorite version of that song.
👍❤️
by far
Mine to! Is there any official release of this exact live track?
Try 82 tusk concert he went nuts on this song
This is my favorite version of this song it’s so gritty and emotional.❤
This isn’t “Say you love me” this is “I’m So Afraid” 😊

Well at least they got the " Fleetwood Mac live HD" part correct lol.
@ronaldolaquidara64 I KNOOOOW!! Can’t find it either 😂😂
@@animemanganet lol! At least 😂😅
Buckingham has such amazing vocals!
Almost strange to see them all so young-looking now. Lindsey Buckingham is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time. A legendary sound from a guy who can't read music and refuses to use a pick.
Hey you should look up a band called The Doublejumps if you like Fleetwood Mac, you might like them 💕
So agreed. I was lucky enough to see them live when touring the Tusk album. And I NOW remember why I had that tremendous crush on him.
😊
Peter Green was a tough act to follow
100% agree! his finger picking must have caused years of callouses but we get to revel in his amazingness forever.. Christine and John were great as well ❤ they all were always overshadowed by the attention Stevie got to be honest
Genios atemporales... una pena que nos falte Christine para tener la ilusión de volver a escucharlos una vez más...
Such a beautiful song. Such talent across the board. So amazing!
Listening to Fleetwood Mac is such a mesmerizing experience, Most of the best bands ever
After dire straits 😊
Both as a hard core Rock band or as a Pop group, Fleetwood Mac was sublime.
If you ask me Lindsey Buckingham is one of the best guitar players of all time
Don’t forget Stevie Ray Vaughan, he is great too ! 🇩🇪💙😊
@KelvinClinton9010 Really Florida , I was in Florida twice , I should have stayed there ! 💙💙smile ! What a great climate and I saw a beautiful sunset 🌅. While being in a jasuki ! On my own ! You are very 🍀 hope you now it ! 💙😊
The Best. This was Amazing. I play guitar for 20 years now and have listned to every genre of music imaginabble, Lindsey is a Master.
Crazy how Lindsey is underrated as a singer and a guitar player. Though this song is not from "Rumors." It's from the album before it, which is also freaking amazing.
Such a talented guitarist who rarely uses a pick to play and riff.
@@cjmq1970 he's got that jeff beck finger picking style. tough as hell
Lindsey’s also got this half rhythm, half lead style that no one really talks about. You hear it in the background of lots of Mac songs. Tunes like You Make Loving Fun, where he’s mixing it all together and making swirly ambient sounds with just a clean delay sound. It’s crazy how Mac had to hire two guitarists to replace him, because his sound is so unique.
@@ryanspencerlauderdale687 And I doubt they could meet the expectations.
So glad they remastered this. All time favorite solo.
Literal chills. Iconic. His voice just does something to me. Ugh.❤
What on earth, I was living under a rock! that solo is amazing!
Lindsey was the fire of Fleetwood Mac!
I was at this concert! It was incredible, Stevie Nicks was absolutely mesmerizing!
So...do you remember seeing film cameras? Were any of you stunned that they were playing such a large venue? Did anyone express any thoughts of them playing in the day time? Do you remember anyone talking about other older line-ups of the group? I feel many people don't know their history...
Счастливчик. 👍🙂
Lucky you.😁
I get lost in this song everyday and its like im there if i blast it out.🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶
@@alexkx8599 I don’t recall seeing any film cameras. On stage, I am sure they were there, but my attention was on Miss Nicks and Lindsay’s incredible fretwork on his Les Paul. I was well aware of other lineups in the group. My older brother loved the blues (still does) and he enlightened me.
@ronaldolaquidara64 The song “I’m So Afraid” lasted hours it seemed. Blistering guitar solo after solo!
I've been alone
All the years
So many ways to count the tears
I never change
I never will
I'm so afraid the way I feel
[Chorus]
Days when the rain and the sun are gone
Black as night
Agony's torn at my heart too long
So afraid
Slip and I fall and I die
[Verse 2]
I been alone
Always down
No one cared to stay around
I never change
I never will
I'm so afraid the way I feel
[Chorus]
Days when the rain and the sun are gone
Black as night
Agony's torn at my heart too long
So afraid
Slip and I fall and I die
How I feel
Days when the rain and the sun are gone
Black as night
Agony's torn at my heart too long
So afraid
Slip and I fall and I die
Thank you.
Thanks for posting the lyrics !❤❤❤
I love their version of I'm So Afraid during the Mirage tour, his guitar playing has been so underrated.
Epic moments of life! Brings tears to my eyes. Thank you, Fleetwood Mac!
Thinking about Christine everyday…. 🕯️
OMG! Thank You so much for this AWESOME upload!
I had the privilege to see this most AWESOME band several times in Portland, Oregon.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Holy crap! Beyond words! To say that this is phenomenal is such an understatement!
God, take me back to the 70s please!
Right?
Regrettably, I never saw FM---when they were THIS -!!!!
But over the years, having seen many of Lindsey Buckingham's amazing solo shows- it almost felt like I HAD.
Lindsey was a LOT of the heart & soul in that band❤️🔥

I witnessed his incredible performance Sept 12 1975 in Denver. The place just shook. I never forgot feeling that the solo should just go on forever. Eric
That takes me back to July 4th 1976 at Tampa Stadium. I was 19 and knew Fleetwood Mac Baretrees and some friends from the town of my birth, Birmingham, had turned me on to an unknown duo called, Buckingham Nicks. Suddenly, they had become this super group and I'm seeing them with Dan Fogelberg opening for Eagles. It changed my life. I've been a Lindsey Buckingham fan ever since. To me he's the most underrated guitarist in history.
Lindsey Buckingham is a guy who plays great guitar solos and riffs! 🎸🎸🎸
And doesn’t use picks!

Lindsey Buckingham's emotional playing and singing here is great. Bass and Drums pounding away. Does this song Mirror he and Nick's relationship?

Fleetwood Mac is crazy because at times it is like pure, subtle soft rock n roll, and then you get this and it just goes so hard 🌩️
I grew up listening to that music, but I wasn't old enough to go to a concert and I still didn't understand how powerful it was live. But without a doubt, listening to it now again, the mere memory evokes a strong positive feeling and emotion for which I have no words. Bravo FWM....😊

Awesome guitar solo by Lindsey ! Happy birthday Guitar Legend !
🎉love this song, Lindsey is freaking amazing
O solo dessa música é uma coisa de outro mundo. É arrebatador, cada vez que ouço. Uma das melhores composições do Lindsay, se não a melhor 🎸
O Lindsey é perfeito!
Is there any kind of official release of this live version? I think it’s the best performance of his I’ve heard!
1982 tusk concert is better
Wow, incredible. Lindsay really rocks.
What a wonderful sound!

One of the big moments in rock and roll....personal opinion..
A thought came to my mind today.
I've only really discovered your music a couple of years ago and love it! It's crazy how different generations can grow up listening to the same music or discover it later, as if time stood still.
My friends recently played a song from my childhood to their baby and I thought "Damn, this kid is almost 40 years younger than me and still grows up listening to the same music!"
That's amazing and makes you guys and your music everlasting. 💜
As a gentleman of a certain age, my heart has always been held by the orignal 'Mac, with Peter Green.
That said, it's hard to deny that this version was a bloody good band.
Just don't want that solo to ever end.
Can you imagine depression so deep it tears at your heart with agony? You have to be right there to be able to see the pain and suffering that comes from your loneliness losing the woman that will be forever in your soul all because of your name ---Lynsey Lindsay Lynsey has never been depressed before but that is about to change😮 Lindsay has left his pain behind 😊❤xxxx
You're info is all totally wrong. This song is NOT on Rumors, nor is the title "Say you love me". The video is showing I'm So Afraid (off the white album). You need to update the description AND the title. You're confusing people.
The is from the Fleetwood Mac channel and they don't know the title of the song or where this was? Try: I'm So Afraid (Live from UCSB Harder Stadium)
I am so thoroughly confused???
This is SO AFRAID with Lyndsey singing lead a Stevie back vocals!!!!
SAY YOU LOVE ME , is upbeat song with Christine singing lead and the band back vocals!!!
I thought this was the official FLEETWOOD MAC account…..but I can’t imagine anyone making this obvious mistake??
Am I the only one in comments to realize this huge error?????

Love can be very scary, be sure you know it’s true love before you say that ❤❤
What an amazing guitar solo at the end!
Nice Performance And Beautiful Song....Thank You Bye JeanFrancois 😊
Im turning 26 and i listened to my parents, split, listen to these great artist from their time and before.. today it is still tineless and i am blessed i dont have the jump on trend and listen to current music bug because wow.. i have discovered so much amazing music thanks to the introduction and love of older music genres. And i still come back to watch them on youtube because man.. artist back in the day... Even maybe up till before 2010 really were something different.. music changed and it shows.
I would have been 7 when this concert was going on but I can tell you I am a massive Fleetwood fan
the best version!
Ohh man i have had a lifetime long crush for Stevie, she is a godess and Fleetwood Mac have been with me since as long as i can remember!
That was mind-blowing. Liked and shared to the world.
Here, in Slovakia, we call it: "Beautiful, old times" 👍
Great musicians all around... Mick drove it home.
I love that there's not one cell phone anywhere in there!! People just enjoy the show and not waste that precious moment recording.
This was recorded before the first cell phone was invented...

Yeah I was wondering if this was at UCSB in Goleta. I wasn’t aware of and USB in 76. University or certainly not the yet to be invented USB port connection 😂

I was surprised. I am an amateur guitarist, rock fan of Zeppelin, Purple, Sabbath, etc. Here in Argentina Fleetwood Mac was considered "soft Rock". But when I saw this video I really liked it, especially the guitarist who doesn't use a pick.
You might like the earlier Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green as well. But Lyndsey is a great guitarist imho
